When our time is up
When our lives are done
Will we say we've had our fun?
Will we make a mark this time?
Will we always say we tried?
Standing on the rooftops
Everybody scream your heart out.
Standing on the rooftops
Everybody scream your heart out.

All the love I've met

Yes mate!
Yep was such a great singer but unfortunately a sick peice of shit at the same time
Agreed. Sucks because he was talented and had it all but he decided to ruin it for himself by hurting other people because of what a monster he is. But hey, prison doesn't do well with child molesters and rapists so one can hope he's getting what's coming to him (at least, some of what's coming to him. No amount of beatings will 100% make up for what he did. It's that bad)
I’m dying!!!!! 😂
LMAO! Classic!
Remember this song being on a Jeff Hardy video. Good song. Love the harmony. "Will we always say. We tried". Sounds so awesome.
Jeff Hardy needs to ask himself that question. Will he always said he tried to beat his drug habit?

What Ian Watkins did was unspeakably horrendous but I don't think people should just turn their backs on the other band members, the effort and passion they put into the music should be what matters with regards to the music

Thing is, they were never the greatest band on Earth or anything but when they got it right they made some really good alt rock and grunge music - that you don’t feel comfortable listening to anymore. It’s the same thing with Gary Glitter, he was a really good musician with some great songs, but an utterly reprehensible human being.
I feel really sorry for the other members of the band because no matter what they do they’ll always be associated with him.
Crazy how they were signed to Sony BMG (UMG) which went to Epstein island and were even named on the list UMG Universal Music Group. This makes so much sense to me. Because UMG cosigned on the island with Jared Leto (another famous Emo singer) and the CEO of UMG Sir Lucien Grainge is Commander of the British Empire! ViacomCBS was also named on Epstein list which makes Sense to why it's being suppressed in the news

What's so deceptive about this is he portrayed an image and wrote songs that were relatable to youth who had problems, maybe people who were even molested themselves and then he turned out to be a pedophile. It's shocking but not because he is a celebrity because even famous people are capable of evil but because he was so relatable. Sad.
Playbackjunkie honestly most predators are like that. They can manipulate their victims because they can relate to them so well. Given his good looks, money and celebrity status he had all the tools to act on his impulses
Playbackjunkie the thing is, most pedophiles were molested as children themselves. Yeah she fucking messed up in the head and tuck yeah he deserves to rot in prison the rest of his life. But maybe the songs arent nessicariy nessicariy about what he did, maybe they really are about hardships. I'm sure that's what everyone though before it came out he was a pedophile. So dont oet that word change the meaning of the song.
Shayla Mccoy Joanne, the woman who was trying to expose him, said that he talked about being abused as a child by his stepfathers church.
He also bragged to her that she could report him all she wanted as he had HIGHER UPS COVING HIM!
HE HAD THOUSANDS OF OTHER WOMEN (YET ONLY ONE ☝️ OTHER MOTHER IN GERMANY WAS INVESTIGATED!) ON SECRET FACEBOOK PAGES, WHO "PLEDGED" THEIR CHILDREN TO HIM! HE SAID THAT "THEY TURNED HIM INTO A PROCURER" FOR HIGHER UPS!
*HOW DID HE GO FROM COMPLETELY STRAIGHT EDGE... TO COMPLETE DEPRAVITY...??!*
EVERYONE who knew him said that something just "GOT FLIPPED IN HIS HEAD!" While he was on a trip working in L.A...HOW...WHY...??! Why don’t we ever investigate HOW they took the path they did...??
Also you mention about abuse victims listening to and really relating to him... WE DID! I got into lostprophets *DEEP* lol from when they very first came out, and I used to listen to them and fall out boy *CONSTANTLY* to cope with my own abuse, so I was absolutely DEVASTATED when he was exposed, and especially so when I realise that the songs I found helpful like we bring an arsenal and a better tomorrow... *WERE WRITTEN ABOUT HIM MOCKING JOANNE THAT SHE CAN BRING WHATEVER SHE WANTS TO "EXPOSE" HIM... BUT IT’S NOTHING TO HIM!* or they are about his rage towards her.
I started to love them because from their very first song I could always relate to him, even now I look back at those songs and what was happening at that time in my life and it feels like if someone could write a soundtrack they’d literally just hand in fall out boy and lostprophets lol that’s what really hurt because I’d always supported them and they are STILL THE GREATEST BAND I HAVE EVER SEEN LIVE! (And I was lucky enough to see all the emo greats lol fob, my chemical romance, good Charlotte, bullet for my valentine, taking back Sunday, Panic! At the disco to name a few)
I know it sounds stupid but it really effected me that he got exposed because yea I always expected that he’d sleep with a few questionably aged girls... BUT I NEVER EVER EVEN THOUGHT THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE THAT HE RAPED BABIES IT AT FIRST! It felt TRULY DEVASTATING to be honest at the time because I really found the anger and the rage in the last two albums especially helpful when I was going through hell with my own case, because I finally went to the police with my own case in late October 2013 after 10 years... Soo whilst I was going through my case... Ian went through his

I remember hearing this song on the radio last year and I didn't know what was the name of it nor who was the band behind it. A year later (this year) I was watching a guy rant about Hoobastank's album the Reason where he mentioned an associated act that he refused to name, so I got interested and decided to check it out and then I found out about Ian Watkins and Lost Prophets. As expected I checked them out on UA-cam to see the music they've put out and then when I heard Rooftops I immediately got Deja Vu and I realized I head heard that song on the radio last year. It is interesting to think that despite many other musical outlets such as Spotify removing all of their music and such and yet I hear it on a public radio station. Now I do not support the removal of their music however it is surely was weird to think that they let this song slide despite the news of what the vocalist had done. The people running the station might've not been really informed of it back then or the staff just changed but non the less it is still something that I had to think about.

you don't know what a paedophile is>
pyrostrike uk She may have been talking about your spelling
Brandon Priddy some people spell it differently
like color and colour
Carlos Chaves The only kind of people that try to support pedophiles are pedophiles themselves.
what ian did was beyond disgusting but I remember really jamming out to these guys, even having the single for shinobi vs dragon ninja. I feel bad for the victims and all the collateral damage ian caused by his acts.
I haven’t listen to this in years and it feels great.
First heard this song playing on rock band and fell in love. Still listening to it 2021 🤘🏻
Oh dear, do u not know the umm proclivities of the lead singer then? Or just ignored it. I mean in fairness yeah, we're all rocking to it too, but umm, yeah the lead singer was really fucking terrible. His name was Ian walkins, look into it. Ur gonna be like holy shit.
@@meghanschuler4739 I very rarely stop listening to an artist because of personal shit, but Ian is my exception, for sure
"All the love I've made, I have no regrets, if it all ends now, I'm set". Wouldn't be surprised if he's confessing in this song, basically telling everyone "Yeah I did it, I don't feel bad, now come and get me"
Guys remember, admire the art not the artist.
To those of you saying that you can't listen to this band because of what Ian did, hate the monster, not what they created. We don't hate the medical advances or the tech advances we gained from the Germans in WW2. just listen to the music
On a scale of 1-10 how old is Ian Watkins girlfriend?
0
I can't find -1 on the list
I don't know if I should be ashamed or proud that I've played this song so much on guitar hero that I've memorized how to play it
Feel good mate it is a good song just dont think about anything bad and you will feel good
Esta gran música fué tocada por una banda y por un tipo enfermo dentro de ella no puede bajar todo el esfuerzo de los demás. saludos
Still the best rock song ever
its a great song
this is an incredible song and they were an incredible band! i feel so sorry for the other musicians, after going through something like this i wouldnt be able to go back to music.
What a throwback!! 🥺🥺
I always forget this song exists then it'll randomly pop into my head and I listen to it a bunch and repeat
So if Ian Watkins is chaotic evil would this make Chester Bennington chaotic good?
I would say so, yes.
this is such a good song, it really takes me back ya know
Thank you for this celebratory, forward-flow as well as appreciate the moment music :)) Watched the sunset again with my cat last night and grateful for this life.
