"Cal, can you stop drumming on the table, you're waking the baby"
"But, I'm trying to to avoid being inphase!"
    "What?"
    "Okay, I'll stop. Sorry"

Thank-you again 🙏. And that part near the end about expecting it to be simple ... all I could think in response was, “the way exercise physiology was simple?” 🤦🏼‍♀️. And to understand exercise physiology we first had to study both chemistry, and biology. I found Ecological Dynamics way more brain-friendly compared to exercise physiology or, you know, the painful two semesters of stats and programming we had to take for a basic degree in Kinesiology. And don’t get me started on anatomy. I still have flashcard flashbacks of origin/insertion/action... so, yeah, I’m not buying the “it should be easier” or that it should not have its own lexicon.

This is a good model because it emphasizes the perceptual element. It encourages learners to "offload cues into the environment" rather than guide their action using fixed internal scripts. But how does it handle more cerebral sports like billiards and bouldering? In those cases there is reasoning involved.

The whole, “It should be simple” argument has been used in many different domains against many different thinkers. Always employed by those who’s audience is the general public, not specialists. Listening to Haldane talk to a general audience about his Nobel prize from 2016 is still painstakingly difficult to understand. People be crazy

I enjoyed the content in general but I did struggle to get past the amount of times you kept saying the word “right”.
    It kept interrupting by thinking.
Just some friendly feedback, as I said, enjoyed the content.

You sound quite condescending to me. I've been trying to understand how to apply this to my coaching for years and I really don't think this type of arrogant approach helps.
