Hey! Does anyone know where the Door Jamb Switch is located? I’m having issues finding a diagram or anyone mentioning where to find it. My door sometimes says it’s Ajar when it’s closed, window no longer works, and radio doesn’t turn off when I open the door. So I want to change the door jam switch while I’m doing everything else.
I really wish we were able to see how you were able to push the lock rod in and out of the lock cylinder because I cant see what Im pushing when I try to do it. Is there a way I can see it better?

Great video. Do you have to change this when the door ajar sensor does not work anymore, so the door seems to be open while in fact it is closed?

This door actuator switch takes the place of the old Door Jamp Switch.
