Accompany us on a virtual tour with a nature enthusiast who spends every available minute in the forest to be able to observe as many animals in their natural habitat as she can. For more than a year, her trips, full of interesting and exciting observations, are caught on camera. Not only the larger mammals, such as European roes, foxes, wild boars and deer are the focus of attention, but also smaller animals like wildcats, stone martens, squirrels or wood mice; but birds too, especially woodpeckers, while ravens, sparrow hawks, chaffinches, robins and black storks, all play an important role. I used to live in Rochester when I was still a young boy. My father and uncles used to take me and my cousins out to the forest as well as other places. I remember the first time I went ice fishing and I remember swimming in a place that had a waterfall that poured into a large pool of water. The area leading up to the waterfall was all slate. You could sit down in the water and it would push you to the falls kind of like a big slip n slide lol
I’ve driven through upstate NY many times and I’m so jealous of your interstate highway set ups with so many nature parks and wildlife refuges etc. A very lovely place that I would love to go camping in some day!! Hopefully next summer 😊
Lucky soul. I'm from the Mohawk Valley and my childhood saw all the wooded playgrounds buried under malls. Currently living in western NY and trying to live with a mentality that absolutely *hates* green spaces. they rip out native growth, put sick saplings in and let them die. ANy of the local "nature preserves" are like walking down a NYC street.
I felt like I was witnessing it with my own eyes. This video has a great vibe, releases stress and is super relaxing and soothing to the mind. Thanks to the entire crew member behind this video. Great 💪
Thank you sooo much, its food for the soul expesialy in the city where we are longing to the beautiful nature, thanks, the Lord God will really bless you very richly!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I look forward to Parts 2&3! I love the beauty of the forest, but you go into so much more with your narrative! I enjoy how you identify the birds, trees and even the insects. I share your love of the natural world! I think you did a fantastic job of showing each season, different weather conditions, and how each creature of the forest survives. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
So lucky as a child to have a wood at the end of the garden .most of my time spent up a tree. And such a shame children today do not have the same freedoms.
Serenity! Where work seem like play, and when night turns to day excitement rushes through your soul for adventure. Beautiful video...thank you for sharing!
I love nature too but it’s not a real good idea to walk barefoot through a forest There’s a lot of things that can hurt you in the woods if you step on it like bees or fire ants or even worse a yellow jacket nest You’re an adult Do what you want I’m just tryin’ to look out💯
Dude, lolol! This was released Nov of 2018, by a different channel, this bewb just downloaded the series, renamed them, and uploaded them to his channel. I know many people do this on UA-cam but this guy isn't even trying to give credit for someone else's work, plus he monetized it, I'm sure he'll see this and try and delete it but I'm not the only one that knows this
@@lynnleigha580 I doubt this channel would have lasted this long and become so massive if it was uploading stolen copyrighted content. I'm pretty sure they're licensing these documentaries
It has to be pedagogical and easy going to comprehend for many viewers, whom aren't familiar zoology and its typically zoological terms and scientifically advanced explanations, like I would in general, but not even entirely. I'm just saying..😅🙃✌👍🌈💎
Somehow "managed forests" does not equal "wilderness" to me. Wilderness is wild-ness: no humans. "Managed" anything means humans are all over it, calling all the shots, making all the decisions--and we can see just how well *that* has worked out all over the world. Narrator must be in a really out of the way corner of Germany to not be run over with her fellow Germans (big population) in those woods,

Squirrels don’t find all their nuts.Nature has made them quirky enough to forget some locations so to allow some nuts to grow.🌏🐿
Lovely documentary! I felt as if I was there myself witnessing the activities in the forest. The narrative was soothing and very well delivered.

Free high quality documentaries is the channel, go see for yourself and I'm almost positive this was made in the late 90s or early 2000s

I guess this would be more for the people who resides in the cities. This was like a documentary about my back yard.
Wonderful and patient filming but I really could have lived without the commentary which seems to have been written and spoken for a six year old.

Count how many times she says forest
Too much about the observer, too little focus on the forest itself.
Beauty forest + sexi woman = imagination ON

To much about this woman’s thoughts and life.
Fantastic video. Astonishing that no credit is given to God my Father the Creator of all. At least not in the fist 20 minutes of watching.
Beautiful scenery but the script is like a child did it.
