    great video! it's all about quality and artisanal manufacturing of an item vs large scale bulk (often overseas) production (cost reduction, less human labor hours, risk mitigation, efficiency metrics for units/month, etc). I have a guitar from Spain and absolutely love it. Would love to visit Granada and experience one of your guitars, maybe later this year to visit my grandfather's homeland (Galicia)! :)

    Good points. I may never be able to justify a totally luthier made guitar, but I do like the idea of small factories where a luthier is intimately involved in every step of the process, but has apprentices to do some of the grunt work. That frees up the luthier to use the skills that only he or she has mastered. I imagine even Picasso had subordinates who stretched and gessoed his canvases for him.

      That is also a good point. Anyway John is talking here about factories. Not much about a guitar maker with one or two apprentices doing some grunk work for him with no influence in the final result. But I understand your point.
