Where’s the rest of the gang
Where is Clay and Sam
????????????????????????????????????????????
Sam and Clay???
Deadhead's don't care about proficiency, they want soul.
And weeeed
Where are Sam and Clay
This is bad ass…I’m late to the party. Some of my favorite musicians are involved in this. ✌🏻
I for one love the new lineup and the 8/22 show at the Nashville Brooklyn bowl fucking blew my mind
This is a completely different band with a totally different sound now.
Now they sound like an average cover band with average chops getting paid a little to play some. Before they sounded like a group of kids having all sorts of fun, loving it, and spreading their particular mojo...making them the only Dead cover band who could capture the youthful hippie days of the Sunday afternoon Golden Gate Park Grateful Dead.
Agreed. I saw the original lineup in 2018. they opened their set with help/slip/frank and did not miss a single note. it was seamless and incredible. sadly, I doubt this new lineup could pull off such a feat :-/ mikaela Davis and Southern star are now my go-to for interesting, transporting dead covers.
@@bradleydewey9083 Crazy, I think they sound much better. Personally I was never fond of Sam and Clay's vocals or playing. But it's all just a matter of opinion.
@@RBunks92 I was only referring to the mojo/fun/vibe the band had with Sam/Clay...kinda made Grateful Shred different from the other cover bands, especially how the band had that young hippie attitude, wasn't trying to be note for note, and seemed to prefer playing the music catalogue of the earlier Pigpen days rather than the big arena big sound era of the late 80/90s. All that said, as long as the bass player of Grateful Shred remains in the line up, the band will have a true groove...he can play.
This song gives me hope.
Sorry, just isn't the same without the Mapache Lads. Are they gone for good?
Are Sam and Clay out of the band? Their harmonies / vocals really added something special. Hopefully, their absence is temporary.
I agree 100%, hopefully they're just doing their Mapache thing for a bit. But on the bright side...there's always Mapache!!! I like them a lot.
Agreed. 100 percent. Bring back Mapache Lads.
totally agree. hope Mapache dudez return.
According to an article in Relix, about this very video, Sam and Clay are off doing Mapache things, and though it doesn't say specifically, it sounds like they'll be back.
Happy birthday Austin Beede!
Damn.
Hey does anyone know if Sam and Clay are coming back? They have not been in the last few shows and I miss them!
Where's Blasucci and Finch?
guess u need to be at least 50 to have ever seen a live dead show....great to see a few old heads in the audience jamming out and enjoying this music just like they would have 25+ years ago
The mapaches make you the best Grateful Dead spirited band ever!
Mapache dudes left Shred forever ago
@@faaaaaaaaaaack what a shame.
Great sound! You guys should team up with JMF. It could be epic. They have what you want, you have what they need.
Hey, you guys are getting good at this. :-)
2024 baby ….the future is here .. we are Lit..…. 💀🌹
Great vibe guys, love it.Any chance of any UK gigs? ❤
If going 2 drummers I feel like this band has to keep the old busy single drummer vibe by adding a percussion dimension to drummer #2
Slip stream soul
