Camping in my Slumit Cub 2 tent :: It's that time of year again when Maverick & Motourway venture out for their winters camping trip on their motorcycles. They find a cracking little pub with a campsite, shop and cafe. The night gets cold but they are kept snug in their pop-up tents.

We are a group motorcycle enthusiasts from the West Midlands who video document 'Motovlog' our motorcycle tours and product testing. We capture the riding journey, views and opinions of the items we are using, as well as some of the fun and situations we experience along the way. We might be a small group but our sense of humour is pure comedy.
Condensation is an issue with even the most expensive tents, especially if its been warm throughout the day then the temperature falls dramatically. I've got 4 tents and they've all suffer with Condensation, something we campers have to put up with, I suggest taking a microfiber cloth to wipe down the next day so you're not packing away a wet tent and the added weight. Just a tip if you didn't know already 😉.
The sun was certainly out on the way to your camp, a bit blinding I bet. It looked like a brilliant campsite, all the amenities you'll ever need 🤟.
Lol you took us all to the cafe then didn't show us what you had for breakfast 🤣, burger n chips looked nice though the night before, thanks for sharing it was good to watch as always 👌

This could be an annual event, having a quality tent really helps. Pity you couldn't have a camp fire, something to think about for next year. Great video.
Yes this is our 2nd winter camp, gonna do every year. Deffo need to do with a camp fire

Great video again. Me and some friends have been doing 'winter warmer' camping in pub gardens since in our twenties and were now in our sixties! Great fun. The beer usually means you don't feel the cold. When i'm biking I take my camp bed as well, gives you a much better nights sleep. What make is the camp bed, It looks flashier than mine?

Just bought the same tent and waiting on it coming. I’m a bit worried how wide it will be on the back of the bike though. Looks to be fitted great on yours.

Hi there, it’s not that big honestly I was impressed how well it fitted on the bike. The bag I use is the Lomo 40L bag that’s waterproof, It would fit 2 tents in there the be honest. @@Motourev awesome thanks for that! I know the specs say it’s 70cm in it’s bag but it didn’t look that big on your bike so wondered if they wrote the specs wrong and it wasn’t as large as that.
I really do hope it’s not to long because a do have a 900 tracer and will be fine on that across the panniers but I usually tour and camp on a 107 street bob and could be a bit on the long side in the sissy bar rack 😂 maybe not be filtering anywhere 😂

Stupid question but does your heaters work off the site electrics? All the best 🤘
Yes they are 240v but are camping heaters. There’s a little plunger underneath which pushes in so if the heater topples over it switches off automatically. Very small and lightweight. There are 2 heat settings, we only had on number 1 as number 2 was too hot even for December.
