They Lure Us Over with Ride Bonuses for the 1st Week and now 2 weeks in a row. I've got nothing

I was getting a streak bonus 5-6pm
Then the following week it went to 7-8 then 8:30-9:30
Now it’s 10pm-11 pm

I don’t have any bonuses this week but I don’t drive the night crowd anymore and I don’t drive late for a bonus of $18 for a 3 ride streak
Don't do this lyft driving, lyft takes about 50%-65% of money from drivers, drivers pay gas, wash car, changing oli, tires, have all risks during the driving. Lyft does only finger work and have some phone calls. Last 3days, they gave me only 19$ per hours for sure.

Good for you dude I don't even see a $2 bonus in my market for the past month
I've had like one bonus from instacart in maybe 6 months.. and it was the dreaded guarantee to make 48$ on 6 orders.. which means that to get any of the bonus, you'll have to work for well under min wage for the next 5 or 6 hours to get your extra 6$..

The only bonuses I’m getting offered are things like $50 for 45 rides - Monday thru Thursday. Given how slow it is in my market, there’s no way I could realistically get close to that number. The only thing I can count on is fair payment for the service requested.

You clearly haven't driven for LYFT in a while! For full-time drivers in my area (Charleston, SC), summer's the most oversaturated time of the year, so it's SUPER SLOW & full-time LYFT drivers are struggling thanks to university students being gone & teachers / bus drivers off for the summer driving ridesharw for extra cash.
Ride quests are being offered, but they're ridiculously impossible to reach due to said oversaturation.
Switching rides on drivers is also still being done here & it's annoying AF.
Another thing LYFT does is limit your ride filters / punish drivers that use them to their advantage. With the radius filter, a driver's supposed to be able to toggle the mile radius, e.g. from 5 miles to 7, or 10, etc. However, whenever the app feels like it, you'll try to change the radius & the app will give you an error message stating, "You've already used your maximum filters." Mind you, this can be while you're in a filter with 2 hours left to go, essentially forcing drivers to either stick with the radius, or ditch the filter.
Lately, when I turn on a filter, getting rides is throttled to the point I've waited over an hour to get a ride. However, as soon as I opt to remove the filter, I immediately get a ride. So, sadly, LYFT is definitely screwing with drivers using their earned "perks."

I'm averaging $16 / hr with Lyft.

Not so much here in Philly. three weeks ago had wall-to-wall $12 & $15 streak zone offers… last week nothing, this week just one for $6 until some short notice $12 for Friday popped up on Friday morning. Furthermore was running behind on my rewards points due to car issues mid month…. Put in a mammoth shift yesterday, hit 1205 of the 1210 required just before midnight… then had back to back rider cancels and a no show, got a pick up at 1:07 am that earned 12 points… felt great, assuming the month would end at 5am eastern, just like the days and the weeks do for all things Lyft… but this morning I wake up and find I am now gold. No longer have priority support (which is of course a joke) so contacted regular support bot which eventually spurted out three standard paragraphs about rewards tiers and earning points, then closed the chat. To add insult to injury the 12 points they didn’t count for my June total and would have made me platinum don’t even appear in my July total either: I have 0 points now and gold status, losing my extra destinations, airport priority and 4% of my gas cash back. About ready to hang up my AMP and give the other guys a final try before I give up altogether on the rideshare thing and get a proper job
Exactly one month ago they sent me a (Lyft Tablet), because supposedly I give a lot of rides in my native bay area. I'm wondering if it's suppose to come with a monthly stipend, kind of the the play octopus tablet does...

I never drove for Lyft. I opened the app. only put my name, address and phone number. Contacted support to guarantee if I completed the 220 trips in 30 days that I would receive the $3500. They told me someone else from support would get back to me. Sure.....crickets.
Since May 3, my almost daily requests to Lyft and CheckR have never received a logical explanation or resolution.

Not in Houston tx Lyft is trash I been driving for 3 weeks in a row with no bonuses only base pay
A few weeks ago I saw that Lyft was offering a $1000 bonus for 120 rides in Las Vegas where I live
So, I rented a car to go after that. Wouldn't you know, when I had the car the bonus went away. I found myself driving to highlighted areas for a $2 or $3 bonus and when I got close to the highlighted area the bonus went away and the colored highlight was gone. That happened several times. I spent well over 20 hours just to pay for the car. I had to work close to 40 hours just to get to zero to pay expenses.

I’m in Detroit I’ve just started Uber and Lyft after one week of part time driving 8.5 hours I made $254 and with Uber I only made $45 for 3.5 hours Lyft is who I’ll go with not to far away from gold status hopefully I’ll start to get offers like this ❤
I know you’re somewhere in the Midwest I haven’t driven for Lyft since they ripped me off of a CRB! I’m willing to give them another try but they need to offer me bonuses, I started with Lyft the. I was one of their highly rated drivers who was deactivated, I am back on platform but they are currently running a background check.

however, I (4.6 years, 8200 rides, 5 star rating) have been/am unable to drive for Lyft due to a CheckR background check "for all drivers" which has been in effect since mid April and which has denied me the opportunity to earn my goal of $1000 and has put me into a ruinous, disasterous financial situation.The ETA completion date has been changed from June8 to June 20 to June 28 to July4!

Wow! I have yet to see an Earnings Guarantee in my area. I think you're getting that because your vehicle in non-EV and/or you're using a vehicle that you own. I haven't had a Challenge for many months.
They offered me 70$ for 40 rides. And 110$ this weekend for another 40. So obviously you're in a better market than me.

Damn, I’ve driven for 7 years for Lyft and never saw these bonuses. What determines that Lyft will do that? We never see that in the Detroit area.

Awesome video Thank you for sharing however where I work the bonuses are not even close to that much and very hard to meet I do keep trying when I can and I'm not working my full-time job however I still think I being penalized maybe something to do with the 2014 Honda Civic I drive even though it's in great condition maybe the algorithm discriminates I don't know

I got absolutely no bonuses for this week. Last week I got a whopping $65 for 65 rides. Whippee
No incentives offered in Phoenix, of course this is our slow season.
Lyft has been poorer lately. All streaks are late at night. Challenges are too difficult and not worth it 55 rides/85$ then 30 rides for $120. That’s over 25% higher than weeks prior.
Yeah I did all that and they never sent me another one.
Why dont you subtract your expenses AND TELL US WHAT YOUR HOURLY AVERAGE RATE IS?
Everytime I go offline with Lyft they ask me to rate their services. I always give them a 1. I would give them a zero but they don't go that low.

Yeah, we’re getting some changes out here in western New York starting in January but I usually go out around 10 10:30 in the morning and I’ll stay out till around one 1:30 in the afternoon and then I’ll go back out and spend a couple more hours I do about 20 hours a week no bonuses I don’t use Uber anymore because all I get from Uber is a $3.40 or $4.40 right so I strictly just use Lyft and I’m only getting $.77 a mile and $.14. I think it’s for weight time so 20 hours about 350 bucks I make for the change in New York that’s happening for us is that we now make a minimum rate of $26 an hour so like in your video that you showed I don’t think it’s this one but another video you showed how much you made working for Uber and Lyft whatever you made for Lyft divide that by the number of hours that you work and I see you only made $18 an hour here in New York Lyft has to make up an extra 12 or 678 that extra eight dollars per hour that you work that’s coming in January but duh 400 bucks that’s high on the high end in F350 that’s making about $60 a day

Not getting this in Columbus, OH but our market is oversaturated like so many others. We're not even getting streak bonuses either. Uber is pretty much dead too unless all the rides are going to the new drivers.

What’s the New York where I drive is just a shitty place to do it I’ve seen those riot guarantees out here and it’s like 50 rides for $35. I’ve never seen a Ride guaranteed that was above $50 and then they wanted you to do 70 rides so I think out there in Minneapolis. They must pay very well out here in western New York. You’re gonna get a bunch of 6 to 9 dollar rides maybe if you go into the city and you have to do 100 right to make maybe $600.
Detroit airport (DTW) makes us show the waybill….fine. Lyft requires our phone number AND DLicense number to open the waybill. WTF?????? Stop it Lyft!

How much lyft pay you. 0 incentive for me . They are clearly targeting drivers in this channel so they can talk good about their experience in the plattaform. Iyft and uber should go to hell . $5 for a 20min ride... Anyway Waymo is going to take over. It is time do something else guys and create a better future.
