I been to a few Muay Thai and boxing gyms and I have never seen one of these bags in there. I always wondered why they weren't very popular. They are very cheap compared to a heavy bag also. I just ordered me one of those and been waiting for it to come in the mail. From what I was told vista is a Pakistan based company so it will probably take a few weeks before it arrives in the mail.
Thanks for the review, the bag looks really good. How fast could you remove the pole or spring part from the base? I travel for work and am looking for something I can do on the road. This looks like a good option but I'd probably have to disassemble and store it between every use and put the pole back on when I'm ready to train again. Does that sound feasible or would it take too long?
not going to lie it sounds like a huge inconvenience especially with how heavy the base of the cobra bag is. You need to fill the base with water or sand to keep it from moving. that is time consuming. There are other cobra bags out there that are cheaper but I can't name them because it's like promoting products and then youtube will shadow ban my comment. I do have a smaller cheaper cobra bag I bought from a chinese company. it does the trick. I use it to work out with when I travel. it's easier to disassemble and assemble than this one. I would only get the vista cobra bag if you plan on keeping it in one place long term.
