Brought KWVR yesterday really pleased with it though I can’t seem to get Bahamas working though I’ve got the old Jubilee from the Settle to Carlisle line. Need to get the vintage carriage s for the Railway Children set. Got a real liking for driving 75078
The valve gear is a hangover from when DT tried to model one side in forward gear and the other in reverse. I agree it is incredibly distractibg but it serves!
The standard 4 abd city of wells work right out of the box as they are included entirely with the vlvase route, so you dont need anything else for those two to work. Everything else is a reskin of other products which would need purchasing in order to work.
Thanks very much for doing this review. I've eagerly awaited your video coming out before purchasing the route and after watching your video I've made up my mind to get it. The railway is local to me and so I know it really well..The water bowl for the dogs is there as is everything else by the look of things, the only things missing would be the rubbish bins on the platforms. You pronounced most of the stations correctly, but Damens is said like Dam-Ms and Keighley is said like the name Keith and then with Lee on the end, simple one really. City of Wells looks lovely as does the reskinned Bahamas. I don't own all the trains needed for the reskins to work but I'm very impressed with what is included. The 101 at the end will be well used I can tell you, just love it. Lastly, the tunnel is famous for the paper chase in the film where the boy tumbles and hurts himself. A cracking review of a stunning route, thank you so much, really enjoyed it.
now i live near this route and the detail is unbelievable
Haworth has a nice fish and chip shop
INNIT I WENT THERE AND IT WAS BANGING

The turntable isn’t operational irl
My only gripe is the Standard 4’s valve gear, but I love everything else!

Hi dark, do you need to have the locomotives for the reskins for the route to work or can you just run the locomotives that come with it?
Do the locos actually come with the route or do you need the base pack to use the reskins

Glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for pointing out the pronounciation of the station names too! Hope you enjoy running the route!
