True that. We southerners sometimes make them on occasions but couldn't really replicate the recipe and the taste. Fortunately, my aunt is from your village and hopefully she'd make them someday ha
During college days me and my five friends from my hostel sneaked into an Angami's wedding which was held just few blocks away from my hostel. We came out with one moudi each 😂 When i tell you the moudi they packed never runs out trust me i saw another batch walked out with moudi in their hands too😂It was yummy! Really sorry for thst couple but your moudi brought me back to life. I was on the verge of giving up on food forever 😂
Kudos to the team, even though the Angamis have different ways of making Muodi. The chef explained it very well 👍🏻, gonna share this to my angami friends and hope they'll send an invitation to me in the near future 🤣🤣.
This channel never fails to amuse me. It just keeps better and better. A wide insightful coverage I must say, I cannot imagine the hardships the creators go through behind the scenes. I'm sure the team has a very handful task on their hands but one thing, I really wish the channel uploads atleast once in a month. Nevertheless, a job well done @The InsightOut team. I am sorry but among the Naga tribes in Nagaland, Angamis have the most bland tasting food. They just can't match the distinctive and sophisticated yet simply delectable cusines of the Lothas, Semas, the Aos etc just to name a few.
I'm sorry that you don't like angami food I'm lotha but always craving for angami dish especially they are good at spicy food and I'm sure you can't deny galho it's undeniable and moudi is scrumptious!!!
@@theorientalguy5838 Good for u. I feel Galho is just glorified and overrated. As they say, it came out of famine, indeed a famine food. You cannot put ghalo, a rice porridge, against the likes of distinct flavors of Akoni, and equally peculiarities of distinct Anishe dishes that exude smokey and umami..etc Moudi is just a glorified braised buffalo/beef/mithun. If the same was to be made by some other Naga tribes, they would put all the flavours of Naga herbs and spices.
@yourboss6003 U hurt? 😭 No one is stopping u from enjoying it. U can't dictate other's food choices and likes, lmaoo..Go to your 'glorious' food and watch your language. We having civilize discussion here.

And the saying goes, " There is no loss in going to angami's wedding".🤣
Yes But sadly the tradition of giving moudi to guests as a return gift is slowly disappearing.....
@@pan_masala yes because we need to change according to time and since everyone cannot afford it.
That's because giving moudi as a return gift is expensive @@pan_masala
Mebbe so if the invitee backed hom wit porkmeat wrapped in banana leaf not less then 1kilo . 🤣
It's coz new generation are kanjus maybe 😢
This is the most expensive return gift of angami naga wedding❤❤❤
Muodi making defers from village to village or from region to region..
One of the most expensive wedding return gift practice by the Angami Nagas.
