Imagine if they mix main fives body’s together and create new molds with them just like how they did with the new dog leak with a husky head and a timber wolf body!
I’m really glad that they are releasing the old ones again. I find it very difficult to find some of the old ones at a reasonable price
I think what people are forgetting is that this took years to plan out and execute. Yes ofc basic fun and lps official are listening to feedback! BUT this year has already been planned out. Everything that will be released in 2024 has already gone into production and the designs finalized likely in 2022. So we aren't going to see what they do with feedback until later waves, probably 2025 and 2026. The fandom needs to chill lol.

I think the husky looks really cute! I love a fluffy dog. I was never an obsessive collector of LPS growing up but I owned plenty. Seeing all these new releases does something to one’s brain chemistry tbh. Free serotonin.

Everyone has their personal opinions I respect it but overall I'm grateful to have lps back, I know everyone's yelling for main 5, we don't know if we're getting them or not. But I'm thankful that they're making a comeback with new designs too! And honestly I'm dying for that husky and despite the hate I do like the sloth he's just here to happy

I am super curious to see what Basic Fun will deem the new canine.. a dog or a wolf. I’m personally hoping for it to be considered a wolf dog (offspring/ hybrid of dog and wolf) :)
i'll be honest, i love the triplets molds AS TRIPLETS. like it made them unique in the g2 times and the fact that their releasing single pets with triplet molds is really throwing me off. Like their cute, sure, but the charm they used to have has been kind of lost to me.
To be fair I personally really love that they are rereleasing some old pets. My chilldhood pets collection went into oblivion because my mom forced me to throw it away while moving out when I was like 13-14 ish, because I was "not a child anymore". I moved out years ago and was thinking about collecting them again, but the original pets are so freaking pricey and hard to get, especially in Central Europe. These would be simply more affordable, accessible and brand new to collect when they get released there. So I am happy about the rereleases, they are so cute!
Our iconic bestie energy is so strong we're literally creating the same videos and I fucking love it (obviously yours is better👑)

Im so exited for the sloth and tortoise, ive been trying to get the pet triplets tortoises for soooooo long with no luck so im really exited if they do all 3 or 2 of the tortoises im 100% buying 💙
I love the g7 giraffe so much!! I’m a complete sucker for pale pink and blue designs and this fulfills this need perfectly!! I hope they don’t change the design, I want my pale cotton candy giraffe!!

the only ones i like in this picture would be the poodle, turtle, and husky.. here are my flaws with these guys and also what i hope basicfun will add!
CONS:
-the symbols are just being thrown on in random places which doesn’t look good. i want them to make them more creative OR make rhem eye shinies
-a bit nit picky BUT im not a big fan of the shiny/glossy paint (maybe it’s just the picture)
-big foreheads. it works on the axolotls, i absolutely love the axolotls, but they dont always work..
-the colors in this picture are not that pleasing. the giraffe is a redo but i still dislike the colors. the poodle isn’t bad, i like the poodle, but the colors on the fur is a bit fleshy (the darker color)
THINGS I WANT
-more neutral colors
-main 5 (they’ll probably come in series 3 hopefully?)
-i would like to see more airbrushing on pets too!
-the fabric accessories?
3:49 I like the new one more too!! I like how there’s less white in the eyes and more pink in the ears. It just seems cuter to me :’)
4:11 I looove the new one sm more for this one as well!! I like the color palette more, the base fits the blue more and the eyes look cuter. I didn’t really like how it was looking to the side before haha
I am excited for the new husky. I am really enjoying it and plan to add it to my collection. I will probably get a couple so I can customize one too (:

I actually like the rerealses sense old pets are extremely overpriced from resellers and I never got to even live lps’ses “high life” if that makes senses

I love LPS sloths and I think they should bring back the g6 mold because its adorable. If they change the sleepy eyes to rounder eyes on the new mold I think it would be better. I also don't mind the re-release designs because I never got that many g2’s
i NEEEEED that turtle/tortoise it’s adorable wtf… best tortoise mold they’ve ever had.
on the poodle another difference is that there is hair ties in the new wave one where its a slightly darker shade of pink it looks like!
I really want to see a worm mold and a sphynx cat mold

I actually do like the sloth! I def get the colors being off putting and not sloth like, but idk he looks so cute and darling I just want to give him a little smooch in his 5-head. I actually think he’s one of the cutest ones 🩷

personally i WANT old G2 pets/playsets to be rereleased exactly as they were. it would make it so much easier to rebuild my childhood collection and get everything i used to have, as well as get sets i always wanted but never owned. i think there should be BOTH original and rereleased lps!

thought the husky-wolf hybrid was so cute! until i saw the lightning bolt which is so poorly placed. i know i can paint over it, but i rather not have to color match it in case the dark brown part wasn't the plastic color :')
i absolutely hate the symbol gimmick because more often than not, the symbol ruins the design or adds nothing good to it. There's a few pets i adore like g7#1, g7#4, and g7#3 because the symbol ADDS to the overall design (like the little heart on the rump gives it a vibe that it's a paint horse). Unfortunately, most g7 pets don't do that, and random symbols placed without any thought to the design because they feel the need to include it no matter what just end up giving the same vibes as g6's fortune pets. Ever since the bull's design was released, I've been comparing it to the neon purple giraffe with a random yellow bone on its neck :')

I like the colours for the sloth, but it's design needs a bit of a makeover. Also, one thing about the new G7 molds, the way they are shaped reminds me of those AI LPS I remember seeing on reddit a few months back 🤔
I actually really like the sloth, definitely looks a LOT better compared to the axolotl 😭 i would like if the forhead was a little smaller but i think it actually works with the sloth and bulldog

I don't hate the sloth, but there was already two sloth molds (the gen 6 mini pet sloth and the larger sloth from the show toys/pets in the city line) that were very close to G2 aesthetics, so I'm not sure why a new mold was made.
(Unless he's a two-toed sloth, in which case he actually does fill a *tiny* void, as all previous LPS are three-toed sloths.)
I'd certainly like to see the petriplet butterflies and horses (and maybe even the pigs while we're at it), but I think it'd be even cooler (but highly unlikely) if we could get the "sticker-eye" petriplet sets with normal eyes.
(I'd also love to see G2 style teensies return as well, especially if it meant the return the pencil case playset- but that isn't very likely either.)
Wolfswap is cool, but I wonder if that's the actual intended design or just a placeholder for a new, but similar, mold. Either way, he's cool.

I don't completely understand the 'massive forehead' thing, bc so many old G2 LPS have large foreheads! even the classic main 5 cat has a big forehead, i don't really see much issue with them (and you teased your own mascot about it, so it seems like more people are becoming aware of how ironic the critique is)
the eyes don't bother me much, they still look cute, still read as LPS for me. if anything....gives more room for eye repaints
