Happy days at the Regency Suite Chadwell Heath i was in there nearly every night of the week. Was never a mod but i always admired how smart they looked. I wonder whatever happened to Brian the owner of the club i'd love to meet him again he was a good bloke.
Excellent video, brings great memories flooding back. Oh to be young again, wearing the clothes riding the scooters. Post more if you`ve got them. Paul One of The Sheffield Mods Once a Mod always a Mod!!
Funny, I used to be a mod in the early 8Ts and used to look exactly like these guys with tailored suits, slippers and everything. Great Time! But seeing white slippers today ist horrible....well, but we where young...
paulwhite68 jeezo Paul this is a blast from the past....I couldn't remember the name of the show.....I watched it myself, it had a piece about respond records.
Harringtons, fishtails.Although it was all re starting in the early 80s i was liking the wrangler look more.Wearing them mod suits is more like wearing uniform.
I remember starting senior school and the older kids asking me if I was Mod or a Rocker (maybe skinner). I had no clue what they meant, so said Mod, as skinners had shaved heads. Correct answer as they didn't beat me up.
Kind of the forerunner of the Skin head by the sounds of it , I like it even though a more hard Rock and Punk is my thing the Who though you can't wack em can you !!!!

Be yourself and dress how you want. No need to just follow the pack. The true Mod.
So follow the pack by not following the pack. Sheep copy what others do.
Who would have ever thought this look would come back again, I guess everything old is new again. Glad these kids are having fun.

Glad you like it. Found it on an old video cassette of the wifes (Christa on the blue PX). It came from a programme called Riverside.
