Well, you've all been telling me to buy a place near Wildcat for years now...so I did. And then I didn't tell him or anyone else about it til I came down to visit. I had the idea to do a house hunters video, walk around some houses, make some jokes and then reveal it to my friends. Well, that was until we got to my house and Wildcat destroyed it.

It was just an accident that fortunately ended in a good way. That ceiling is fixable. A broken heart, friendship or a severe injury is hard to fix.
Because he knows he'll pay for it and he's good for the money
Its a story he now has for a lifetime. Not just because be was a famous youtuber but he had good friends and made awesome memories with them outside of work.
Imagine how much funnier this would be if they were standing in the kitchen when they just see Tyler's whole ass leg come through the ceiling😂

I'm always surprised how bad houses are in usa, i mean my ceiling is concrete.
@@stefancarking1337 most of the US is very temperate. Meaning it gets very hot and very cold. Concrete is very difficult to keep warm in the winter. Plus wood and fiberglass insulation is a cheaper and easier material to build with and replace as needed.

@@bolbyballinger The room was still in construction. The pink stuff is insulation and you build a floor above it. Tyler stepped between the framework into the kitchen ceiling which is just drywall.
@Jon Hesson Yeah, we don't have attics this far north (too much cold for an open space, too much snow to risk structural integrity) so I'm kind of inexperienced with how they work.

If you think it is remotely wise to build the second floor of a building without the entire thing being built to support weight, I pray you never build anything.
@@mattpace1026 you can literally see the exposed beams, and insulation when they go upstairs. That is an unfinished room oh, it does not yet have a floor in it. I don't have to know about that house, because that's how all houses are built. One of the things you are specifically taught is to never walk on anything except the support beams. Because this exact thing will happen. Please try not to be so arrogant

slightly problematic that the floor was thin enough for him to fall, maybe a problem spot or not reinforced, but if the attic will be storage for a lot of stuff, I would recommend extra reinforcement so the floor/ceiling doesn't fall in again or droop.

God this brought back some rough memories from my childhood... My brother Kevin decided to go in the unfinished attic space above the garage and fell through just like Tyler did. But Tyler being an adult at least owned up to it and apologized. Kevin had insulation past his waist (he basically T-posed and caught himself under the armpits during the fall) but still claimed he had no idea how that giant hole got there. 😒
