I did most of this trail Spring three years ago . Looks different in winter. When the waters up and the snakes are crawling, it is indeed an adventurous trail. Happy Trails!

At the day use area by the boat launch. There's closer parking to the boardwalk, tower, etc if you don't want to walk as far.
