Fantastic ride, mate. Don't mind telling you I'd a few orifices tighten up when you met that great big truck and trailer on the corner shortly after you left home!!!!!
G'day Paul, good to see you out on the Trident 🔱 and it's a performance bike pity about the traffic, don't have that problem on our Country roads, l would lovee too ride that road your on but it would have to be at night, great note when you opened it up, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Nice to hear the Trident stretch its legs a little, you know that road, so following the old Police Road Craft book, right gear, right place ,right time, or something like that, know where your overtaking points are and hit them if clear, great stuff.
Nice sound when you give it some whelly, loved to ride my best friends Trident when ever i got the chance. My best wishes to you from the Philippines ♥️💪👍😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴⭐
Friday the 13th and your “crappy British motorcycle” didn’t break down :-) my wife and I got married on Friday the 13th and we haven’t broken down yet either, going on 27 years! Nice sounding bike! I think I’ll hop on my bullet 350 shortly.
I was out and about today too, Ammanford for some super unleaded, exhaust paste for my even louder stainless pipes, (arriving Monday)😅 you'll probably hear, them next time I head out Llandovrey way, made in Britain lovely spin on me Taiwanese Triumph. P.S. nice bag!
my son was born on a friday the 13th, always thought of it as my lucky number since then. weird seeing a welsh ride out without at least a shower though. The trident sounds fit mate.
I understand exactly what you mean about going at your own rate - even if it isn't necessarily fast, nor much different from the guy in front. Frustrating to be baulked. We'll ignore the barb about RE (however true!) 🙄 Q: why not both 'case halves; won't they want to line-bore/ream the pair, esp as you're being very precise about the degree of overbore? Also, is metal spraying not done anymore on journals? I don't hear you mention it.
The one casing is fine, going by previous builds where cranks have spun freely with just a half to one thou clearance in the bush. There is a lot of scaremongering about these engines, much of which has little or no foundation. I don't know whether metal spraying would be very durable, but maybe it could work - there would be nothing to lose in trying to build up a very worn crank, I suppose.
As already mentioned, bike sounds fantastic but why would you choose to have that key ring flapping and clanging ? Can only guess it's done to antagonise 🙈. Shame really because it ruins the chance to enjoy the awesome sound of that engine ! Good way to wear out your key barrel too 😐 👍
When you passed that caravan, wow the sound.

Yupp come to Sussex F-ing traffic everywhere!

What a glorious symphony when overtaking the caravan 🎼🎵🎶

Thanks ✌️
Delivering parts for a vintage bike, on a vintage bike. That is equitable.

What a smooth running bike and a nice brisk run on it well done. Alan Northern Ireland .👍
Thanks 👍

Bike sounds awesome paul. Never heard many tridents in fact very rarely see one in the flesh.

Thank you!
Five mile gaze today, that Trident has a noticeable effect on you. I would love to see you doing this on your Interceptor, eventually.
Love it wen you know the road that well!
Nice sound, but that keyring was effing annoyed 😂
I suspect the key ring can't be heard when riding but of course the camera picks up all the tinkly noises
Nice one. Nice day.
Be careful if you cross over into the Danelaw!
Thanks Paul.
you simply can't beat a triple, either a 120 Trident or even a 180 Jota!
Tinkle gets a run out.
Ah yes - I get it.

Can’t mistake that bag of nails sound from the top end. Or was it the wind chime on the key?🤣 Don’t notice it when it’s on song though.
