I think the value of the Sculpting and Artistry will always be under appreciated. The prices are hard for mainstream to understand in my opinion. Some think these realistic dolls are for the Movies and Theaters. I get that comment a lot.

I was like, that sounds like a microwave, but I don't have one of those. LOL Those bottles are cute! I've been saying those on some other channels, too, so maybe later on after I get back to work from being off from summer break, I can get some of those, too. I love glass bottles! I agree that this hobby is definitely still in its infancy and I really hope that later on it does become more mainstream and more accepted. It was actually the dishwasher "which is so annoying bc it beeps when the cycle is finished until someone opens it!!" I just love these bottles! They actually aren't glass, but they look like they are. I love glass bottles too! I just want to say Sis that I really admire you're strength & courage in all that your doing on your own! You're doing an amazing job! And I'm glad your still finding time to enjoy the hobby bc yes, we've just gotta keep sharing our beautiful babies & the joy this hobby brings us! I definitely agree people think it’s weird because it’s more of a newer hobby in the perspective of history or time they just don’t understand us and that we don’t believe the dolls are real. I always like putting it into perspective for people that don’t understand so that once I explain to them, I can be comfortable and talk about the babies. Precious baby btw❤
I enjoyed your topic -Ollie is so cute 🥰, I just watched your 2 y/o video on the bottle making techniques ~~and letting a few nipples dry -going to be patient and wait 48 hours 😂… I love the Emulait ❤… Im turning 61 soon and this yr I brought out what was an older doll collection in a hutch … eventually got my self reborns and a premie silicone to “handle” on my birthday 🎂… My friends and families have always known me to be quirky so It wasn’t hard letting them know I’m back into dolls … I had old baby dolls put away because exes were creeped out years ago 😂… now it doesn’t matter to me … Ty for your sweet videos , I enjoy them very much … Have a beautiful week 🧸
Thank you so much, my sweet dolly friend! Yes, it's worth it to wait a couple of days for the nioples to cure properly. I've never had one come undone since I learned the hard way yrs ago. It was by accident, really. I had left one sit & then realized the difference & then knew what I was doing wrong. My friends & family have always known me to be a colorful, and none of them bat an eyelash at my doll collecting. Most are fascinated by the art. Yeah, when school is out for summer, I always have a house full of kids in & out all day. You should see my grocery bill! 🤣 But I have to say they are all very respectful & they grow up so fast. Before I know it, the house will be empty. My son is my last one still at home & he's now going on his second year of high school! Glad you enjoyed your Walmart trip! Yes, I really think a lot has to do with the fact that so many people have never even seen these dolls. Back when my kids Dad had surgery & we had physical therapists & nurses coming to our home. The people who came were absolutely fascinated by the dolls & stayed to ask me lots of questions, hold them & admire them. None had ever seen reborn dolls. I found that interesting. My kids' friends are the same. Each who comes in is fascinated by the dolls. Now it's only my teenage son left at home & even the teenage boys are interested! I'm always glad to have the opportunity to show one more person what a reborn doll is & put the hobby in perspective. I hope that one day, the stigma will be completely gone. Really we are the first & some second generation reborn doll collectors. Thank you so much! 🥰 Tasha
