These videos have become my Sunday morning ritual (when they're available). Awesome Work. Especially when a little mishap happens, it's taken in stride. It's nice to see you keep that content in the video, too. Those little mishaps always happens and sometimes there's a re-do. That's where you have my respect. Strive for perfection.
Fabulous job man! Nice repair on the over spray! No one should beat you up on the body quality. You've done fantastic with what it started with. Truly awesome work. It's a bummer about the windshields. I hose my seals down pretty heavy with glass cleaner while installing than wipe it all up when I'm done. The seals will move better if they're lubricated and it just glass cleaner that will evaporate and you'll need to clean up the glass with it anyways. Hopefully we get to see it sit on a frame in a week or two. I know you're more anxious to get it on more than all of us 😎 Also thanks for your advice on buying that xhp kit. Going around my build similar to you, I can get everything in the kit for less than half.
Thanks man! Definitely should’ve used glass cleaner to install… I remember that for the new ones! I should have the body on their this week hopefully! Thanks for watching!
Been following your rebuild from 🇬🇧 from day 1. Fabulous. And everything done 100%. What are your plans for when you finally finish? Keeping or selling?
In this video at (14:57, I see two square holes in the bed... did you do that? is that to access the rear brake lines? How did you cut it and then put the pieces back in? I put a rear brake line in on the passenger side but couldn't really get good access to secure it well to the frame, so some holes in the bed would do the trick I think.
That run disappeared! Good job on that fix, I don't think anybody would ever be able to tell without watching this video
Thanks, I think it’s still a little subtle to me, but it looks pretty good though
Super satisfying to see the paint go on. Looks just like mine in Carpathian Gray!
Nicely done...its coming together quick now...your getting some good time in now..
Hope so!
I love your videos and progress.
Thanks!

I’m probably gonna keep this one
What braking system will you be using now that it will have a duramax in it, or will you be using the original braking system?
I’m gonna try to use the original, at least for now

@@SplitBuilds my 2003 doesn’t have them so I was just wondering. Thx
What glass did you buy to replace the laminated glass? I've found the aftermarket glass is thinner and the windshield leaks.
I’ll try to get stuff off of federal military parts
Too bad about the paint is there a place that you might be able to rent one of those inflatable paint booth for a couple days ?
Now I dont feel so bad breaking my glass trying to push it in. That stuff is fragile beyond belief.
