I think the white stripes needed those crazy grunge crowds around this time (Like those crazy nirvana shows before and around nevermind) Because when you look at death letter and Let's build a home, It looks like he has so much energy to get but the crowd isnt really giving back, Like hes awkwardy running through knee deep water, I don't know, It's like i just want to see people freak out at his really high energy songs where hes moving around like crazy

🗽🍎 yeah , i saw them at a free concert on a pier on the hudson in 2001 . i had never heard of them before. however , i knew that the white stripes were gonna be the next big thing. girls were swooning like for frank sinatra. goosebumps. laying down like heavy jimmy page. heavy.very heavy.

What song is the first 20 seconds or so? I know it says intro, but is it based on any or their songs or any song for that matter?

+Saul Z. He was probably there to learn a thing or two. I saw jack when he was a local guy here in Detroit mixing the blues with punk rock attitude. The white Stripes and the Libertines make the Strokes look like private school wannabes, oh they are.

lol lol what's your opinion on the Jack White/Black Keys beef? When I found out about it, it depressed the shit outta me... I don't see any similarities other than the 2-man-band dynamic. I think people in Jack's circle must have poisoned his opinion against the Black Keys.
