after upgrading to the merc/evo brake upgrade (330mm front rotor) I was absolutely blown away with the improvement in braking, I would hate to have stock brakes on track they overheat so fast on the street after a few 200-100 stops!
I don’t know why but I wasn’t too happy with mine maybe it was the pads that I chose, but they didn’t feel a huge deal better than stock. Also I had ugly wheels on the clear them so it made me want to go back to stock for a bit lol
@@YakuzaJZ I have the s550 setup which has the larger rotor than the 500s, but regardless it should have been a HUGE improvement over stock if they were working correctly. I am only using yellow stuff pads and the braking is miles better than stock ones which couldnt even lock up my NT01s
Like how it pulls! Man! Seems it has lots of potential for track. But for sure as you said in the intro you defenently need to upgrade those brakes for those "oh shit" moments. HAHa. Nice to see progress from the first vids. Keep it up bro.

@@YakuzaJZ I was able to find EBC pads for the S500 calipers, in all their Red/Blue/Yellow/Green variants. If you're looking for an even larger caliper there's always the wilwood kit, and I've seen some people fit E55 AMG 8-piston calipers.
@@traingeek2000 it was just hard to get them easily from australia for a reasonable price. I’m going to buy a Ceika 6 pot 356mm kit at some stage in the future 🤞
@@traingeek2000 yes, like me. Now I'm using e55 AMG 8 pot calipers with 360mm rotor. But I want to change and improve to better pads, maybe ferodo ds1.11 or pagid
Bad MoFo my friend and fast AF. Hey I gotta ask how much massaging did it take to get the new transmission in ??? Only because I'm about to swap mine also T-56 magnum??? Thanks 💯💯🌟🏁🏁🏁

The 7mgte is turbo so you if the one you’re looking at is non turbo it should be 7mge. I’m in Australia so not sure what the market in the US is like but it sounds a bit expensive
FARK that beast is INSANE, thanks for the ride bro
Thanks man 🙏

Omg bro! My smile was bigger than Santa Claus watching your car on the track and the awesome sound of the 2j. Keep it up
Thanks bro!
Kudos to you for putting your MK3 Supra Turbo to use on a road course instead of a an airstrip/drag strip. 🏎️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man yeah love to use it for everything haha
Sick bro!! She sounds amazing!
Fuck yeah and that 6060 shifts wonderfully

Car is sick!
What size wheels/tires?
What transmission are you running I’m gonna do a similar track build but I’m gonna use a r154 any thoughts?
Hey man it’s a Tremec TR6060
It looks like its hard to control, is it?
Nah man not really, if you can drive decent it wasn’t hard. It’s at least predictable when it oversteers
How did those Bride Low Max work for you at the track? I'm looking to buy a seat for my Supra soon?
Man they held me great, didn’t have to think about bracing myself like the stock seats!
@@YakuzaJZ Are the Bride seat ZIEG or ZETA series? Also what seat rails are you using?
@@badmanvinny5366 I think they are Stradia style. Rails are planted
Found one with the 7mgte engine non turbo R154 transmission for 10k US dollars. Any thoughts.

On normal street tires????
Yep normal old street tires
might as well just make it a drift car,
Haha 😂
Do you have insta so I can ask you some questions on your build?
