I wish I cud contact u directly Rabbi Chalom. I am so sorry for wat is happening in the world right now in respect to Israeli-Arab relations. I am thinking of u & hoping u & yor community r staying safe & R as well as can be expected. I am on my last slide of this lecture series: Introduction to Jewish History but I want to go back to the beginning of yor series to review wat u say about the origins of Jews in Palestine. I want to do all I can to try to understand this eternal, ongoing struggle between Jews & Arabs or maybe I shud say Muslims in this region of Palestine/Israel. It is a very complex problem in the middle east-- the (?) of Palestine & I think all U.S. citizens hav an obligation to try & comprehend as well as can be done the whole picture of the scenario which probly boils dwn to getting to know the long history of the region which U hav so thoughtfully dissected for us here in this series. Thank U Rabbi for creating this lecture series & for making it available to the public!! Please take care during these especially troubling times!
this is an answer to my search of trying to understand my religion/specific church beliefs..i wont tire listening to and studying the whole series...best regards from the Philippines
Wonderful! I have only now just started watching this series. Takes me back to the feel of lectures from my undergrad years - in a good way ;-) Thanks so much for sharing it here, Rabbi Adam ;-)
