That is a very real thing! I love when God does this, and I have found the testimony of Him doing this to be highly effective in causing it to happen again. So if you encounter someone else who is missing something, I encourage you to share this chain of testimonies, including yours, and see if He won't do it again for whoever you're sharing with. I have had this work at least three times in a row, with three different people. God is so good!
Years ago I was awakened in the middle of the night to what I can only describe as the audible voice of God saying "Psalm 100" three times. It was one of the most profound experiences of my life. This is the dawn of our awakening.

Our Pastor has been preaching on the book of Daniel for several weeks. And his name is Daniel.
My name is Elizabeth. I had been having some issues. I went to a public place looked down and there was a Canadian penny on the ground in front of me with Queen Elizabeth. Issues over and I found a penny in front of me for several days after.
Praise God! He’s speaking to you that you are one of these queens that are coming (arising into His fullness) and that He’s going to Continue to make provision for what He’s called you to !!

The sermon is more speech like. It sounds like you use the scripture to provide confirmation for your goal rather than using the word to teach on its own by studying it and teaching the scriptures to the body.
We don’t change because we don’t know the word.
People engage with scripture in different ways, and Holy Spirit interacts with us in different ways for each individual, too. What you might be picking up on is the difference between the ways that teachers and prophets interact with scripture. For an example of this, look at the way that Peter applied Joel 2 in Acts 2. Would you have been okay with what Peter was doing if you were present on that day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was first poured out, or would you have been bothered by the way that Peter seemed to be taking the passage out of context and possibly stretching what was said to make it fit the circumstances?

The Era initiated in Joel 2:28=29 was the Pentecost and the church age, that initiated in Joel 2:30-31 will be Rev 6:12-17 the end of that era when earthly kings call for the mountains to fall on them to hide them from the wrath of the Lamb.What they hold in common is those who call on God's name will be saved for in Mt Zion there will be deliverance.
Blow the trumpet in Zion, let the kings (Rev 5:10) make way for the King of Kings!!
Hey Chuck!! If this is the Chuck Holloway I know ;) have you read the book Eyes Wide Open by Martin Trench yet? He does a great overview of the ages written about in the Bible. Bringing all of the scriptures about the word “ages” together and in context to the age that those in Jesus day were experiencing upheaval in within the transition or cusp of the ages. And the one we are now transitioning into current day. It’s so very helpful for understanding the 12 ages that align with the Hebraic calendar and bring about the fullness of time. (or eras spoken of here by Kris). And it is a short book. Amazingly. It has been tremendous to encourage me in the Rest & Trust of His incredible leadership and imagine His increase more clearly. I so highly recommend it! Soo aligns with what God is speaking and leading Kris to release and agree with here. Wow.
