17 months waking every single hour or more is extreme
Yeah, I thought they must have the age wrong... my 2mo old is sleeping 4hrs and then 3hrs during the night for a total of 7hrs between midnight and 9am. Baby only ate like this the first couple weeks of life and now on the occasional clusterfeed nights...
Mine is 17 months too. He wakes up at least 4-6 times at night. This is despite the fact that he eats 3 meals and 2 snacks. The kid isn't actually nursing only for food, just for comfort mainly

The baby isnt actually feeding every hour, but using Mom as a pacifier
True! The hardest thing when baby doesn't want pacifier they use mom's breast all the time.
That’s why mothers have to time the feeding, not randomly like that. It’s so tiring and unhealthy, for both of them, the way she does it.

Absolutely she seems to be very patient and definitely knows every time that baby moved even when on her other side to flip over immediately motherly instincts at it finest!!! Never once seemed aggravated and we all get that way sometimes hands down she’s a wonderful mother but what I do see is a lazy ass father who could have gotten his ass up a few times so mama could rest she didn’t create this baby alone just shows what us real mothers go threw when you have a man that just doesn’t care and thinks his sleep is more important being a full time mother is a job as well amen to that!!!!
Don’t talk rubbishy not only this mom many moms are like this except some bad moms who throws away or kill the baby
Wow, I'm mum of 4. Breast fed all my kids. And never had a child wake up that often for a feed after 3 months. I think I had it easy. Her patience is to be commended.
I was curious as to why the baby woke up so much. Some babies use the breast to soothe, but sometimes there’s not enough milk. When my kids fell asleep on the breast after 5 minutes, I used to wake them back up like “oh no you don’t” 😂 I would stuff them and they slept right through beginning at 3-4 months 🙏 . She’s definitely VERY patient. God bless all the good mums out there
@@lolamarie441 Absolutely. All mum's and babies are different.
Maybe baby uncomfortable, too cold i think
My 20 month old baby wakes up 2-3 times at night, but when she is teething or sick we look like this vid 🥲😅
@@kirstyyoung6061 The baby is feeding on demand because they know it's right there. If he/she was in a crib or their own room the demand to frequent feed wouldn't be there. Mums are amazing, priceless, irreplaceable.
It's so precious the bond the baby has with their mom.
This not healthy bonding, it’s trauma bonding for the baby 😢
Mothers do not sleep, They just worry with their eyes closed.

@@Sweetlove900 Lol, every kid is different. I didn’t do any sleep training so it was about the age of 3 when my girls slept solidly through the night. Of course they have their moments. But as some things get easier other things do get harder, lol. But for the most part, my girls are 4 and 6 and I feel like my days are more fun than stressful.

@@rasjidahmova
Mine went into their own beds at 3 with zero problems too.
This is why men also need to be more involved. I learned this when I became a father and watched my wife go through postpartum depression. I would go to work and school sleep deprived from only sleeping 2hrs but it was well worth it as it allowed my wife to rest and help battle her postpartum. For all the dads out there, if you can do all nighter with the Boiii’s and go to work the following day then you can stay up and help your Gf/wife. If you can party all night and wake up with a hangover and work, then most definitely you can wake up two-three times a night to help with a diaper change or feeding. I prefer to wake up tired than to wake up with a hangover anytime. Just saying. And if your wife is a stay home mom, help out still, that shouldn’t be an excuse, and if your wife/gf is working and going to school, then that’s even more reason to help.

It’s fine if it works for this mom but it shouldn’t be represented as the “norm” or what to expect. Neither one of them is getting the sleep that they need being constantly interrupted hourly or multiple times an hour.
When the second kid came in the morning my heart broke for her.
And Dad was already gone… Up and out of bed after his undisturbed night of rest 😭😭
Mine didnt, shouldn't complain if choose to have 2 kids, her fault for having 2 young kids.
Kat ok 👍
@@Kat-zi2tb well 2 parents and 2 kids. And we don’t know why but perhaps when dad jumped up he could’ve parented his other child
@@LetGo0007 His rest wasn't undisturbed, unless you saw an unedited clip of the entire 6+ hours of footage and never saw him wake up. He may also need to go to work, so for all you know they have an agreement for him to stay asleep unless she needs him so he can function and support the family financially. What's he going to do when the child wants to eat.
In our case, my wife and I both woke up in shifts to take care of our daughter when she was born, but then she couldn't breast feed so that meant I could feed her myself. We also worked from home, so that let us get some extra sleep in. When our daughter was over 1yo, she slept in her own crib instead of the bassinet next to my wife, so she learned to sleep through the night then instead of waking us up every 10 minutes like the child in this clip. They really needed to get the kid to sleep in a crib by this stage.
and then to wake up at 7:30, make breakfast, clean, do laundry, play with kids, lunch, dinner, bath time, and back in bed to do it all again. My respect for mothers grew immensely when I became a mother myself. It’s so hard
😢😢😢😢you can say that again
Fathers have it worse! 😅 without fathers, everything will fall apart. Let me explain! (Fathers are disciplinarians.) Being a disciplinarian is a BIG deal because if you don't know how to discipline, kids can't see you as an authoritative figure. If they don't see you as an authoritative figure, they cannot take you seriously. If they cannot take you seriously, they won't listen to you and if they listen to you they will do whatever they want to do. Because fathers are disciplinarians, they are the ones who raise kids. They are the ones who are in control. Without fathers, everything will fall apart.
AND PLEASE DONT ACT LIKE MOMS ARE ALSO DISCIPLINARIANS because we all know when moms discipline it's a joke.
What will fall apart without men, exactly? Women often have even more workload when a man is around who was not socialized to share chores equally in the household, and who can afford to live on only one income as a couple nowadays... Thanks so equal rights in many countries, men are not relevant anymore to a woman's life, except if she decides that it benefits her more (emotionally or otherwise) than it holds her back. And that's great, because if a woman stays with a man, it's because she wants him specifically, not because she needs him and depends on him!
@@whateverman2674 its not a competition of who works the hardest just be inhumane and consider mothers hardships.
Single working mum here. I call bullsh*t
Mums are champions. 🏆
The dad is unfazed.😮💨
This video makes me realize that once upon time we too were at the same age and our moms did the best to handle us , without caring about their sleep. huge respect for all the mothers out there.
Ummmmm not all mom's , certainly not mine
babies are worst monster 😡

My thought at the end: oh god there’s another!
IKR and I have stair-step kids ( one after another) and worked at least 40 hrs a week. I don't even see how us women do it 💯
Lol I thought the same! 😟😟
I said the same thing 😆
🤣🤣
😂
Poor woman! That's terrible!
I can't believe I went through this with 3 little lovely humans. I feel like a hero for surviving this...😬😶🌫️🥰
Brings back memories I thought I'd never sleep again when my daughter was a baby but now I'd give anything to go back and do it again
Awwww 🖤🖤 I know it might sound cheesy but they really do grow up in a blink of an eye!!
Great Mom!
Awwww so sweet I want so bad to have children, some of us out here wish for those sleepless nights caring for a newborn.
Same!
As crazy as it sounds, I miss those days too. Those bonding moments are some of the sweetest moments in life. 💛
This is the stages of being a parent not every baby is easy in sleeping, feeding etc. Every parent has its own different upbringing in their child
True, my son used to wake up at a time that I felt was too early to be up (1:00 am). He was fed, dry, and unharmed. I kept right on sleeping!!!
This is the stage of being mom...look at his father...he didnt wakeup not for single tym dude
@@kiarahjacob9029 He actually did wake up a few times. He just didn't interact with a baby.
@@spcrri4796 exactly i meant to say wakeup not for baby
Yeah. My mother said that as firstborn i am the hardest to handle, hardest to be born, while my youngest brother is the easiest to be born and to be handled. I was picky eater, hella crybaby while my brother isnt. Until now, i'm a 25 yo cranky woman and my brother is a 14 yo stoic boy
