The vibe of the song is very different from other songs of Exo. But I love this. The way they patched together the different parts to make them fit perfectly was great. I loved the singing and the instrumentation... the lyrics and the visuals - haha - Cream Soda is not a drink.....

Well, our boys are men now, they are in their 30s, we grew up with them, so we are their age. I love Cream Soda. I’m so glad they did this grown up, suit up classy and sexy concept this time around. It was their latest comeback and I also feel the celebration in the mv, no gimmick or superpowers, just them being successful and being themselves. Not many groups retain this massive fan base and remain relevant after a decade. They deserve it. 🍾🥂✨

Before releasing this song , EXO told us that it representes their mature and sexy side as they grew up . also the meaning of the song is that it expresses the sweetness of love and compares it to a cream soda drink 😂

Its instrumental sophistication (everything you pointed out), the insane vocal skills and smooth dance moves reeled me in. Don't worry, as soon as this mv dropped last year, which was highly anticipated mind you (we've been waiting for years for them to sing ALL together again!), all reactors thought the same thing! How could you not? Very clever, hiding in plain sight like you said, the innuendos are in your face, and although it shocked me at first, I became flustered and started feeling some type of way 😂😂
But hey, we all grown...and this shows Exo as the mature young men that they have become...as many of the other groups of today THROW sex lyrics and bare chests and dirty dance moves in your face. Exo are an older group, and are considered adult music, for adults, not shocking, blatant meanings the younger groups want to kill you with. Exo does it with finesse, with a touch of sexiness that a real grown man would do, in a very classy way. I love it. They know what they're doing, and it's a great mv. We had the same reaction😂 actually, I didn't like it at first yet while the time pass, I realized it is so catchy and groovy. The amount of vocals they putted into and the choreography is much more difficult than before. We also had the low v-cut top of D.O here which is a rare moment from him. 'm loving queen Cream Soda now regardless of its real meaning😂❤
