I just love how it sounds. The laughs, the screams, the high pitched notes at the end of some words and the howling, it just adds so much life to this song. It's something that this song is just not complete without. I just can't explain it, the best description would be that this song just sounds so alive, the singers aren't afraid to take a different approach to it, adding all the noices and emotion to the words.

Yeah, this was the first song they ever released together. I wish they kept this version instead of replacing it on the final album.
Personally I prefer the album version so I'm happy they've chosen it but this one is awesome too... it would be great if they had put the 2 versions in the album.... I love this band I hope some day they will make another songs...
i like this version a lot more but i think including this version would make the album less thematically consistent
I am genuinely offended someone would dislike this.
If there's any justice in the world, they'll make more music together. I love their raw simple tracks but I would love to hear them with more musicians, adding klesmer elements like they did with this song. So many good musicians!

this album was originally meant to be a play, but it was cut short into an album for budgetary reasons
