This whole record is a total masterpiece. I've been listening to it nonstop for the last two weeks. «Civilized Mosters» has me banging my head all day. Can't wait for the new record to come out!!!!!
This is one of the only 80's bands that have actually got better over the years. Ronnie's voice sounds amazing....I actually think it sounds better now than it did on "future world". Ken's guitar playing is brutal in your face!....LOVE IT

Look him up, and see for yourself where the priorities of the Danish music business, as well as the majority paying audience, were at that time.
Nowadays Ronnie sounds like naturally raspy whereas during the Future World era he switched between a beautiful clean voice and pretty strong distortion (would guess that wasn't even technically healthy distortion, but sounded really cool). This is the first time after many years for me to listen to their stuff, and although I grew out of straightforward hard rock a long time ago, it is very nice to see they have updated their sound and there is still that little extra in their songwriting that makes them stand up from the crowd.
Pretty Maids have crowned themselves to kings. Not only with this one. Just producing NO bullshit. Love them...hope they play 20 more years. Just great so artists and musicians. Love them.
Been a PM fan since the 80's when I DJ'd heavy metal at a local College Radio station in NJ. Band is still strong and tight, melodic. Vocals havent dropped off at all. Ronnie Atkins still has his pipes..You guys ROCK...keep up the danish metal love you guys.

One of the 80's most overlooked metal bands, still kicking ass, this type of mellody is what gets my blood pumping, i have played their classic albums to death, lethal heros was amazing , i think the bands name was what hurt them back then, i like it but others are like what! Pretty maids? Anyway if you love mellodic metal like JORN, get this cd. By the way speaking of jorn, this song with jorn singing would be so damn awesome

The drummer, sneaking in 32nd notes with the 16th notes he's playing and keeping it tight - that is some fucking KILLER drumming! I dare say few drummers could play correctly! When Pandemonium came out I thought that would be tough to beat since it was perfect. Then Motherland was unbelievable and now this! Thanks to Pretty Maids for all the amazing music! Little drops of heaven should have been a huge hit even in the states! If people would just listen with an open mind these guys would be huge!!

I felt firmly they were the best late 80s band back then, but their run from 2010-2016 is head and shoulders the best run from an 80s Metal band. And it's not even close. A distant 2nd is Stryper.
Fucking great work again - the hattrick is done. Three strong albums in a row, the Pretty Maids seem like at their second or third peek. Well done, men!

I first got into their EP,then Future World really rocked.I kind of fell away from their music until I heard Pandemonium! Since that album I've looked forward to every release! I've been a true Fan of Hard Rock since 1980.Now they're truly a contender with all the earlier New Wave Of British Metal(Maiden,Saxon,Priest,etc.)!

Red hot an heavy should have been world famous. It came out in 1984 no clue what was wrong with the marketing. The album is amazing.
