Thanks and good review. I have something called Monimoto here in the UK, but it requires periodic battery replacement (doesn't drain bike battery, which my other tracker did) and it also requires periodic SIM subscription which is inexpensive. However, the is no map unless you activate the tracker in the event it is taken, but then the battery may only last days to a week. So ... this Sizzapp looks like a great inbetweener. My first GSA got stolen from the garage in September 2020. (the chain got cut, what was remaining was half a chain link), Got my current GSA and fitted a MoniMoto GPS tracker. This one has it's own battery and I chose it, so noone can see it is there. November 2021 the thieves hit again. The brake disk was cut and the steering lock broken. I got an alert at 3 in the morning, rushed to the garage and saw the van disappearing into the night. I phoned the police and 6 units of the Rotterdam police were chasing the bike and found it within an hour. The inshurance had only to pay for the damage, instead of the whole replacement of the bike. The only disadvantage of a GPS tracker when your bike is parked inside a garage is that it takes some time until it detects movement. Additional to the brake disk lock and the chain to the wall, I have invested now in RoadLok which is a brake disk lock mounted on the brake caliper. It feels safe now, but also takes 10 minutes to release it from all the locks before riding. (you can not have it all!! ;-) ) Stay safe out there wherever you are.
Thanks for your story! Great that it worked for you. This device has a built in battery that lasts 3 hours if disconnected from bike battery. Hopefully you found a more hidden location for the GPS tracker than under the seat. I have had the Invoxia GPS tracker installed in the beak of my baby GS. I tapped into one of the two accessory power connectors on the back of the bike's display so the GPS tracker is charging whenever the bike is powered on. That keeps it charged without draining the bike's battery. It's been zero hassle for the last 18 months.
Why do you keep the invoxia connected? I recently bought one and the battery last for +3 months so no need to have cables showing the way to it, it is well hidden and every 3 months I just get to it unscrewing some stuff, charge it with a powerbank in 15min and its good for another 3 months. It is important that the tracker is well hidden and no cable leads to it, right?
Invoxia? This unit is built for charging from bike battery. No option to do other way. If disconnected the alarm goes off and still works 3hours. Takes 20 minutes to unscrew things to get to its location.

I've read that it uses an e-sim that should work worldwide. But... it doesn't take long until 2G stops worldwide (and did stop in The Netherlands). And not long after that 3G stops. What band uses the build-in e-sim: 4G/LTE? Because that wil be the only long term solution for an investment like this.
Not sure about the bands. Need to check their website. In eastern/central Turkey i noticed it had 2 days out of reach but it later came back and updated those two days in retrospect. The rest of our long trip worked every day.
If the bike is started the voltage of the battery increases and that means you are using the bike. Thats my guess at least beacuse when it running its not alerting. But mving the bike before starting sends alert every time
It doesn't matter how well protected your bike is if they're determined they will get it, a tracker has recently turned in to the best money I've ever spent. Highley rate biketrac systems, so sensitive just taking the vehicle off the stand without the keys in the ignition sets it off & their team are calling you to warn you within a minute. The fools thought putting it in a shipping container would scatter the signal but the bike was recovered in just over 24 hours.

Caveat Emptor. They may not have monthly fees _now_ , but a number of companies have used a similar model - hook you now with no fees, introduce fees later when you have no choice.
Perhaps, but I spoke to them and they guarantee free forever. In a way you actually pay in advance since the device is more expensive than those with subscription. They could not have that price if they also charge subscription. Lets see what the future brings.

We are processing your order and will send a message to your email once we ship it. Usually it takes no longer than 2 working days.”
You were sold a tracking device! 😀 the code was used. New, first of all, my motorcycle will be better protected.. secure a new hobby, work trip vehicle.

Hey Nomads! Thank you for the review. Thinking about purchasing the device. How is your experience after the Turkyie trip? Mainly how much does it drain battery in practice. Also aren't you getting random unnecessary notifications? Thanks!
It works well and I have it on the bike constantly. It's ok when you ride at least every week, but it darins the battery faster so longer than one week between rides it needs to be on charger. But I don't want to take it off now :)
Did this device record your trip to Turkey? Can you get a gpx file from it? I am going to Alaska and want to record my trip and I was wondering if this tracker can do the job for me.
Hi yes it was on the Turkey trip and you can extraxt gpx from the app👍🏻
@@NomadSweden Thanks
Does this mean that you always get an alert when you yourself is starting a ride?
Yes. Unless i first disable using the app. But i rather get the notifier. I expect it.
But if i work on the bike I can snooze the bike for X hours.
Det borde vara så i appen att man kunde välja av / på automatiskt
Och att av även ger crashlarm till anhörig
Även ett automatiskt nattläge ifall man glömmer typ 22-08
but it does require SIM card which requires active credit doesn't it?
Nope. eSim is built in with lifetime free data
@@NomadSweden all over the world? no roaming charges on your phone etc? cool
@@robsonenduro3316 correct!
So to disable gps just cover a bike with emergency metallic blanket from your aid kit and then load the bike to the truck ;)
There are always way to trick. Still i get notified the same second
Sizzapp seems to be good! But I will try the low cost Variant with some Airtags from Apple (with much less Features of course) first. If I am not happy I will try yours 😉
Airtags only work close to iphones right?
@@NomadSweden Yep thats right, but I read some Stories that People gladly found there stolen things like Bicycles or Motorbikes with it and you can nearly hide it anywhere. Of course the Chance will be lower as with Sizzapp but there still is a Chance, maybe you can also throw one into your Bike as a Backup they are not that expensive (4 Pieces 80 €) and you can share some with your Friends who will ride the Trip together with you
@@Speelbird could be a good backup
I've read that it uses an e-sim that should work worldwide. But... it doesn't take long until 2G stops worldwide (and did stop in The Netherlands). And not long after that 3G stops. What band uses the build-in e-sim: 4G/LTE? Because that wil be the only long term solution for an investment like this.
Not sure about the bands. Need to check their website. In eastern/central Turkey i noticed it had 2 days out of reach but it later came back and updated those two days in retrospect. The rest of our long trip worked every day.
Is that the rally
Siat ?
Nope, standard seat
@@NomadSweden okay . That looks so comfort .. mine is more flat
I Think
If its standard its the same
Between the Sizzap and the Monimoto, which one do you think it's better? Suggestion: Get a friend with a Monimoto and do a video comparing both
Yes i have only tried this one. More expensive but then free forever
How does it know you are riding the bike? I mean does it notify you every time YOU drive your bike 😅
If the bike is started the voltage of the battery increases and that means you are using the bike. Thats my guess at least beacuse when it running its not alerting.
But mving the bike before starting sends alert every time
So when charging the motorcycle battery the alarm think you are driving and deactivate or ??
Ser jätte enkel ut. Behöver den inget SIM-kort i Sizzapp enheten?
Hej. Inget mer behövs och inget kostar mer än köpet. Det kan kommunicera via GSM på samma sätt som bilar kan idag. Dvs inget mobilabonnemang eller så.
@@NomadSweden Tack. Jättebra!
Thanks for your story!
This device is made in Latvia, isn’t this where all the bike thieves live? :D
Don't think so
we don't know about where are living all the thieves, but we live in Latvia and we do just the opposite - produce great trackers to protect you from thieves :)
👌👌👌
device unplugged. like when you put it on girlfriend and her other boyfriend tries to unplug it. I like that. Also Judge can use it for speeding ticket. Phone app drain its battery? Cab the app be hacked in your phone?
I meant AirTag
Im waiting for patenting similar device ,just my it’s going blow your balls after 5 km of riding.
