    Please consider adding EMDR eye patterns (open, closed, left, right, both, blinking, squinting, wide, winking) while tapping for longstanding, adapted issues.

    • @Julieschiffman
      @Julieschiffman  4 місяці тому

      EMDR is an amazing technique and can be very useful along with tapping- however not ideal for a short video for people with long standing adaptive issues. I would suggest working with someone to do this in order to get the care needed. But thank you for the suggestion 🩷

    This tapping sequence made me yawn and yawning is a sign of EFT working because yawning happens when emotions are released.

    This helped me the first time I followed threw with you , I could feel my faith in this building as the words you were saying matched my thoughts and feelings. I literally repeated what you said but with more emotion releasing , tears at a moment. But now brighter thoughts , less pain in my body and life moments after presented a changed course path presenting me with the first new rout around my thinking and assumptions. Thank you very much for sharing this very useful video 🙏 I will watch and follow threw every morning for now as my life has a lot of unresolved processes and patterns leaving me anxious majority of the time. Change your thinking , change your world. I know how a way to instrument that concept and very grateful for it ❤

    Thank you Julie for this session. It was excellent. I do notice that I yawn a lot during the tapping sessions. Could you explain if this is something normal or what is happening in my body causing me to yawn a lot. Thank you so much. I love your tapping sessions. So authentic and helpful. Be blessed. Linda from Israel.

      Totally normal!! In fact it’s a great sign that you yawn. It means the energy is moving thru. Also- belching, burping, crying, passing gas…all good signs that energy is shifting. Laughing too!!

    Julie likes to over complicate this process and "make it her own" by adding a bunch of random thoughts into the "Set-up". I taught EFT for many years and always simply used the process as it was taught by the creator, Gary Craig... i.e. Even though I have this stress, "I deeply and completely accept myself." Yes, you can deviate on the phraseology, as things pop into your mind (emotional field), but I think it is very counter productive (and way overly confusing for newbies) to try to throw as much on the wall, to see what sticks, when simply doing the tapping set-up. And, when she FINALLY starts tapping, again she way over complicates the process. As you tap, simply say, "This Stress" (AND 5-7 taps on any point is fine, you don't have to tap a meridian into dust :) So... run through the tapping points one time and then add a second round simply saying, "This Remaining Stress". Often, that is enough to clear that emotional connection, but if other thoughts crop up, THEN you can chase them (like this anger with my husband, or whatever), but it is a serious waste of time to bake so much complexity into this simple and amazingly effective process (and a good way to make clients come to you because you have them SO confused :).

    • @Julieschiffman
      @Julieschiffman  5 місяців тому

      Oh yes! You found me out. I create these tapping videos that have helped literally millions of people over the years just to “confuse” them. Of course this is not gold standard or clinical EFT-
      And I am open about that. These short tapping rounds are meant to help others connect with what could possibly be an underlying component to what is causing the stress. Good thing you have a choice to tap however you choose 😊

      I also use EFT in my counselling practice and followed the original Gary Craig model and did notice clients experience great relief and made progress. But I also noticed during a session there was more complexity to an issue or struggle than those set-up statements provided and began to include more specifics that I knew related to them and their circumstances which I find the wording also does in this tapping sequence. The feedback was positive and improvement quicker. So I also believe there is room for both approach’s making it so effective and individual.

      @@lauradent Thank you for sharing your feedback. It's good to hear it from all sides. There are many options and only so much we can do in a sample video. Everyone should tap in a way that is effective for them...and everyone is different. xo
