I missed that “welcome in, welcome back to the channel” good to see that you’re back mate! Decent FTP mate, look forward to racing together at some point soon 👍🏻
Welcome back. I noticed you were cruising the Zwift neighborhood again. Our numbers are similar but you will move up. I just hit a 350 ZRS but still in “D”, if I go higher I’ll be at the bottom of the next fast group.
Very happy to see you back, Caedmon! 🎉 Looking forward to seeing you race. 👊 Will likely see you in a race as I am on my way down in the scoring system and you are on your way up! ⬆️ 💪 😂 (to be clear, I will be on my way down due to being bad and not because i am sandbagging 😉)
I wish there racing scores or FTPs were used in the real races I participate in. The amount of sandbagging that goes on in these local XC races in my area is astounding! A women whose average speed is 15 mph is NOT a beginner or a sport class rider for that matter. An average XC race speed of 15 mph is elite for my age group of 50+ for sure!
Ciao man. You’ll immediately notice that with the new racing system the older cats (D-C-B-A) don’t apply. Just to give you an idea racers with a score higher than 520 are what used to be A cat and higher than 690 are A+ semi-pros and pros. That means that you were at the top of C’s you’ll be competing with races that have a max racing score of 350 which is the 4th category but it’s way faster than olde D cats. Anyway, see you in the virtual world 😊
How these FTP tests compare for example in Tacx app? For example Tacx ramp test are 45mins long, and in that time you can make one FTP score, but if you doing 20min, then your FTP gonna be higher, because you are not yet exhausted?
Yeah, these ramp tests are very short. I think it overestimates since the test isn’t even 20 min long. For example, there is no way I can hold the 240+ watts for a full hour right now based on my fitness

Good to see you back on Zwift! Hope you're feeling motivated for some racing. Did you get to do any outdoor riding while you were off?
I did my first ever century in August, however, that was my one and only outdoor ride this year!
Glad to see you back

Welcome back! Pity you didn't use "The Grade" KOM in "Hill No!" route for your FTP test...
Hey thanks! I saw that route, looks brutal straight uphill
@CaedmonCycling It is! May the force be with you when you ride it!
Can't wait till you taste some if this ZRS categories. It's better than when it first got rolled out, but it's going to hurt
Look forward to getting into it!
