@@animecarguy22 Coincidentally yes. Sedans like this and Cressida were designed for the boomer-gen drivers of its era, so there were no quirky or intensely rounded body design
@@club1fan552 Good point. Mazda made a 4 door concept car some time ago: the Vision Coupe Concept. Something like that is my idea about the 929. Some kind of new 4door coupe as 929. But i guess it would be a redefinition of the 929/Xedos 9 idea as a luxury car.
Thank you. Personally, I am impressed with your knowledge. The 929 from 1982 - '84 is my favourite. Slow as all hell but gorgeous body and the interior was insane. There is a video on youtube with a '83 coupe in mint condition. It's wild.
Electric seat belts came out long before this 1987-91 Series Mazda 929. Automatic seat belts were first used by VW in 1975. In 1977, the US mandated that by 1983, all US vehicles had to have either air bags or automatic seat belts. By 1995, it was mandatory for all US cars to have airbags, hence automatic seat belts were made redundant.
Mazda 929 1988-1992 unforgetable beauty!!
Looks like a dam bass boat
from the golden age of Mazda. Perfect cars.
I owned 1989 it was a wonderful, rare and powerful car
It´s perfect since I just got my 929 a few months ago.
I wish i could have gotten a V6, but the 2.2l with the manual transmission is also pretty nice
Thanks. Just figured out how to use my car now.
It’s sad you don’t see many of these on the road anymore
Thank you for sharing this!
The ultimate G owners manual video narrator!
You can tell there are no airbags during that era. Because this is a very dangerous driving position as shown in the video.
This is a rare Mazda sedan.
It looks like a Toyota Cressida

RUSTWAGON!😆 loved it
Mazda should build a new 929 with RWD or AWD
Probably would compete with the 6 too much. In fact, the current 6 looks very much like the 929 from 1993.

very good car !
I miss ours with the s appearance package
929 weak spot was the automatic transmission. Mazda should had used a Aisin Warner transmission instead of the Jatco unit they used in the 929 and MPV
Why the leveling of customdr; what is stock
So how did this work. Did people get an Vhs film when they bought this car ?
I LIKE IT
Are you stock ?
Классно спасибо за выпуск
Please, write english, ork.)))😀
This was the year before the electric seatbelts right?

Mazada made great cars like Citroën but no anymore!
This car looks a lot like a Toyota Cressida
Who the hell moves an automatic gear lever like that?!
Stock was stupid
luxury as Europian car
