If i see question papers/past papers i get really confused what formula to use, sample one or population,, Standard deviation= /root of variance right Ma'am?? Another video on this topic would be really helpful
The only difference between the formula for the samples and population is the divisor (variance), for sample divided by n-1, for population divided by the total number of population, you should be able to identify whether the problem uses population or samples.
