Putting me to shame on a "kid guitar".... love it lol. I think you just sold me this guitar. Everybody wants to demo it plugged in but the whole concept is a compact travel ("acoustic"). Thank you, I love short scale guitars and this one don't sound like a toy ether.
Thank you all for feedback! To the guestion of the strings I have to say that I have not yet changed the strings myself so I don’t know that strings they are.
I never understood why people insist on having massive a dreadnaught I play a tenor 8 string Ukulele and find the 41" guitar a bit to awkward to sit in my favourite chair. I want one of these so bad.
Ernie Ball power slinky work great change up the high e string to 11 instead of a 10 11, 13, 17, 26, 36, 46 Works great for leads and rhythm Also change and upgrade the tuners to either at least a 16:1 ratio or 18:1 ratio Golden Way has on Amazon 16:1 ratio open back tuners that look and work great for only $21.00 The rest of the Yamaha APX-T2 is great. Got mine used for $125.00 They are great players! I use mine live as well.

Exactly - the acoustic tone is what I'm interested in. Now if I could only find out if it is loud enough to accompany a flute.
