I really love that dust jacket, it looks beautiful. I do agree with you about the character art, it rarely agrees with what i imagine when reading a book so I prefer art to reflect other aspects of books. I also love a map in a fantasy book. I want to buy those books, but not the special editions of course, and I am aiming for hardback because in my country paper backs rarely have the maps for some reason. Thank you for showing us! Now I will go to bed and cry about not being able to buy those for myself. Just kidding. I am happy for you, they are really stunning.
Thank you! Yes, for example when a character is described as having red hair, I picture them as having copper/auburn hair, not bright red that looks like it's been dyed, feels more realistic to me in a fantasy world 😂
Btw, I just read Six scorched roses that is a novela and kind of 1,5 of this series, with Vale and Lilith as main characters, they are a part of the ashes and the star-cursed king. Have you read that? When I reread these two at some point when I can get my hands on them, i will def reread Six scorched roses in between as well. I loved it. 🪶🐍
Yes I loved Six Scorched Roses! I sometimes struggle with romance novellas because I find there's not enough time for me to feel invested but I loved Vale and Lilith
Those SPINES, those EDGES!!!
They are ✨ stunning ✨
