Best thing about grocery shopping in Seattle was when you needed ANYTHING from Uwajimaya. You always end up getting a plethora of other great snacks and seafood you didn't know you needed.

Little trick: dont use plastic wrap to cover your eggs, use a paper towel. The Papertowel will suck up some soy sauce which will make sure that even the tops make contact with the soy sauce

I made this. It f'd my stove with a terrible grease stain from the overnight cook, but it was still pretty worthy. At first I thought the broth was bland, but the tare added the perfect balance. It was my first adventure with fishcakes, but I give it a thumbs up. A lot of work but good results. thanks, @acooknamedmatt
