I just had a Kentucky Fire Cured last night and it's a great smoke. The addictive factor with any tobacco is the nicotine and while cigars have more nicotine, your body is not taking in nicotine the same way as cigarettes (because cigarettes give you a big nicotine hit because the smoke is deliberately inhaled, whereas with cigars you should only be tasting the smoke). The best cigar I've ever smoked is a Liga Privada Papas Fritas (the only Liga Privada I've had so far). Drew Estate has been my go-to since shortly after I started enjoying cigars a little over a year ago. Great video.
Forgot to add my top favorites. #1 is the Oliva Serie V Melanio line. Highly flavorful cigars. A couple others are the Partagus Black Label and CAO Consigilar lines. They are my top 3. The KFC's are in the top 5
The last time I tried a cigar it was one of the small ones with the wooden tip. That was back in my collage days. Didn’t care for it. Now that I smoke a pipe regularly, I’ve though about trying a cigar. The pipe tobacco I smoke is mostly on the mild side and I stay away from Latakia and Perique. I gave my son-in-law a box of Pappy Van Winkle’s once for his birthday but I didn’t try one myself. What’s a mild cigar that you would recommend to someone trying cigars for the first time?
@@becomingaman23 are you doing OK? I’m 71 and I have no idea how to post anything, especially making sure it is seen by the ytpc. I like seeing your content. There are a couple of young men that have started sharing pipe smoking content. Ramblin Jan and thepiper603. I think y’all could very well be the up and coming channels to the next generation of pipe smokers.
Hey there! I am okay, I have been taking a short break while I try and get through this schooling as well as my transition to first shift at my job. More content is on its way next week. Thank you for checking in on me!
@@becomingaman23 I wondered if your time was being consumed with getting the Sheetrock up. Two of my cousins in Illinois were members of the plaster and sheetrock union. They made good money but they paid for it physically.
The big difference between cigars and cigarettes is that there is no actual leaf tobacco in a cigarette. Cigarettes are all paper, including the filler. Cigarettes are made from HTL or "Homogenized Tobacco Leaf" and this "tobacco product" is just ground up stems, seeds, stalks and leaves that cannot be used in premium tobacco products like cigars or pipe tobacco.
I love the KFC line of cigars. The Chunky is a great smoke when you only have a short period of time. Fat Molly's and Just a Friend's are both very good as well. The sweet KFC's are pretty good, Just not my favorite's
You should do a video on American Spirits all natural cigarettes. Compare how it is smoking natural cigarettes vs. cigars.

I’m more of a pipesmoker these days but my all time favorite cigar is the Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story Series.

Hope all is well, it's been a while.

I would try either a charter oak Connecticut or if you like a little more flavor I would try a deadwood leather rose.

What do you prefer pipe or cigar ?
Pipe. I smoke a pipe every day. I usually only smoke cigars on the weekend

Oh and around 600 chemicals that the cigarette industry won't disclose.
