Hey I really dig the style you play in. Its how i plan to play mine when it arrives. Really have me excited now. Happy to see the jazz blues sounds so good on this model. I agree its the best looking finish.
Hey thanks for watching! Yeah this guitar is perfect on blues and jazz and well a lot more genres, but havent cranked it up to more of a metal genre pretty sure its gonna give feedback. And yeah I saw all 3 finishes. At first I wanted the denim blue but in person it wasnt to my expectations.
Thanks Franky, great review. I agree with you about this guitar. If anyone is wondering if this is the best Casino yet, another POV here, yes it is. It's just a sweet combo of things, most of which Franky captured. Apart from the technical reasons, It feels so good in your hands, and the sounds are just plain exciting and awe inspiring. Nevermind whether it's the best Casino ever, is this the best bang for buck guitar out there at the moment? I guess for me it must be pretty close to that. What do you all think? To each their own...for some the lack of access to the 'dusty' end of the fretboard is a big no-no. So I guess if you want to be shredding up there and this is going to be your only guitar I can see why you don't want one. But if you have another axe you can do that with, this Casino will give you something completely unique to play with, with a sound that makes it hard to put down...always a good sign.
I wish Epiphone would make the Casino with the same neck joint as the Casino Coupe, so you can access the end of the fingerboard to get the higher notes, otherwise what good do they do? It also moves the bridge farther back from its optimum position at the middle of the F-holes, notice it's an inch or so past that point? I also prefer the input/output jack on the side, rather than face of the guitar. If they ever start making the Casino like the Coupe, I'll buy a full-sized Casino, because they do sound fuller, having a bigger body. Nice playing!

You are right about the P90 PRO pickups.So much better than those on the "regular" and more expensive Casino.
I found the exact same thing! I find the Worn Casino sounds *much* better than the more expensive non-Worn models! What an odd design choice!
This casino has pro P-90's and the vintage sunburst has classic T and R P-90's. The pro P-90's are like mini humbuckers in a P-90 size pickup.

Sounds like you're looking for a Gibson ES-330 (minus the jack location)
Probably the only reason I'm hesitant to get one. Everything else screams "buy me"!
