i remember the AK walk in Maspeth several years ago on that old raggedy bridge past that toxic creek into Williamsburg in Brooklyn . Lots of commercial sections including a city bus terminal .

Well, small town with eight lanes of LIE traffic below and planes to LAG above! It's still great how you visit neighborhoods like this. I've only been to Maspeth to visit my grandparents grave right there in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Stunning view from the bridge with the skyline lit up and the massive thruway. Also, coming out of the small town atmosphere to the overpass, it had as sense of “Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.”
Maspeth has a great view of the Manhattan skyline!
