Hi everyone! Recently, we’ve redesigned ReachView 3 settings view to simplify your work. Check out our post to learn more about changes: community.emlid.com/t/reachview-3-update-redesigned-settings-view/31658
Thanks for the video, I have a question, what happens if I set the base to static? I always did it that way and I see in the video that it's like kinematic.
Hi there! If your receiver doesn’t move, you can set your base in either static or kinematic mode. This setting is relevant only when your Reach is receiving corrections.
same applies to the rs plus?
Hi there, the configuration for RS+ is a bit different as it's a single-band receiver. Please follow this guide to set up your base and rover: docs.emlid.com/reachrs/quickstart/base-rover-setup.
Hi Polina! Why do you use 0.5 Hz RTCM3 on RS2? and not 1 Hz?
Hi Luis, in this video, we suggest the most optimal and reliable configuration :) According to our tests, it allows getting a longer LoRa range.
Still, it's possible to work with other configurations too.
@@Emlid Thanks ! I always followed the recommendations in the Emlid docs and never had a problem with 1 hz. You say that with 0.5 hz it improves the range of lora?
@@luisgalina2770 Exactly so. When you choose the 0.5 Hz, you can use the lower Air Data to increase the baseline. The lower the Air Data rate, the wider the range.
@@Emlid Thanks!!! For NTRIP, is the same configuration of the RTCM3 messages valid?
@@luisgalina2770 You're welcome! Such a setup is suitable only when you work with LoRa radio.
This configuration doesnt matter where you use it? im from mexico by the way
Hi Jose, all is correct! Location doesn't matter. You can use the configuration recommended in the video.
Friends, maybe you have an unnecessary, outdated, broken geodetic equipment, which I have given a new life to.
