To me this song means something different than what was intended. To me it’s about a woman who lost the love of her life and is clinging on to the memory of him with objects he left behind. Like the “love letters” he left her and how they’re permanently woven through her heart. This has such a deep meaning. She’s not sure if she wants to continue on living without him. They were supposed to get married but he died before they got to. She still has the wedding dress, and she mentions how her heart still belongs to him.
