- Serienmäßig wird das Sport-Modell die Ausstattungslinie "AMG Line" beinhalten, sowie auf exklusiven AMG Leichtmetallräder im 5-Speichen-Design im Format 18″ mit 235/40R18-Bereifung (rundum) rollen - schwarz lackiert und glanzgedreht mit rot lackierten Bremssättel. Die Vorderachse wurde von AMG entwickelt, -- passend dazu auch das abgestimmte Fahrwerk mit AMG Sport-Parameterlenkung. Der CLA 250 Sport bietet mit seiner speziellen Motor und Getriebeabstimmung sowie einer veränderten ESP® Auslegung zudem ein besonderes Fahrerlebnis. Dazu trägt ebenso der emotionalere Sound aufgrund der modifizierten Abgasanlage bei.
Zusätzlich unterstreichen rote Akzente an AMG Front- und Heckschürze die expressive Positionierung des Modells, an den vorderen Kotflügeln sind "Sport"-Plaketten angebracht. Innen setzt sich die Akzentuierung mit designo Sicherheitsgurten in Rot fort.

For those of you wondering why your CLA250 Sport doesn't sound like this it's because this exhaust is only available as part of the "421 Sport Package Plus" option. As far as I know this option isn't available in the USA until June 2014. It includes red (non AMG) calipers, different 18" wheels, the red accent stripe on the front and rear (you can see the rear one in this video), more aggressive "S" mode setup, louder exhaust, and the base CLA45 AMG seats. Package cost is about $3,800USD.
You're correct. I've recently been researching and thinking about buying this car. You have to get the $3800 Sport package plus. It comes with the AMG exhaust.

@@Cartman5101 Quite possibly. There's a website (probably several) where you can enter your VIN and it will tell you exactly what options and packages are on your car. I don't recall what it is at the moment though.

Wakusa dont know where this guy went but I can tell you it’s great! Not perfect but great! The exhaust is nice with pops and bangs. The comfort is awesome! Finally nice legs space while driving.
However there are some negative things. I don’t like the infotainment system. It’sa bit laggy sometimes.
And there is this thing which btw all mercedes do: when someone sits in the car, even if they attach their seatbelt, the seatbelt image stays on the monitor in front next to the speedometer waaaay too long
I love my car even more now.

That is the differents between the "normal" CLA 250 and the CLA 250 Sport :) it also has the following modifications:
Speaking of which, the “AMG Line” equipment line will be actually included on the CLA 250 Sport as standard. The model also features “Sport” badges on the front wings, 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design and red detailing on the front and rear AMG aprons. The “red effect” is also continued in the interior with the read Designo seat belts.
The two-liter engine's output has been left the same, with 211 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb ft) of torque, but the 7-speed dual clutch transmission has sportier settings, as does the AMG-developed front axle and chassis, including a speed-sensitive configuration for the steering. The CLA 250 Sport will be available for ordering in Germany from 7 October with a starting price of 42,304.50 Euros, including 19%VAT.
Can this be purchased in the UK? The exact same sport model with the stock exhaust system that pops?
Also, is it only the 2015 models that have this exhaust or all the SPORT models which i found to be 2014-2018..any idea guys?

@finger Hut...How do you like your seats? The Black MB-Tex/DINAMICA look great in pics but I wonder how the feel and look in person. I have not seen any in person. Can you post a video of the inside sometime?
I think you find much better videos here on UA-cam concerning the seats.
The seats have a great material combination but the lateral support is not very good. They look "sportyer" then they are. But the new model 2015 will have the option to configure the performance seats !!!

but no sound in my exhaust :/ i put a sport exhaust now i have a good sound but not the explosion when i shift up like you .
can you help me how can i get this ? and where is the difference ? is it in the program of ecu or gearbox software ?

Hey ! Bist du noch aktiv? Ich würde gerne wissen, ob nur der 4Matic diesen Sound beim schalten von sich gibt, oder ob der normale 250 Sport 2Rad Antrieb ebenfalls den selben Sound hat^^
Ich denke unten in den Kommentaren steht alles was du wissen willst.
Ansonsten empfehle ich jeden bei Mercedes anzurufen. Der hier in dem Video gefilmte CLA ist nicht mehr das aktuellste Modell.

How long or after how many miles did your exhaust start sounding like that?? I have a CLA 250 Sport like yours; the exhaust is great but it was just curious how long after it started popping.
right at the beginning i had this plopping. But now after a software Update from Mercedes Benz it is not that loud anymore maybe because of the transmission.
Finger Hut I recently just got mine so I don't know about the software update, all I can say is that it does sound really good, but I notice the sound much more when I'm in parking garages than when I'm driving on the road, because the sound bounces of the walls. But can the update really affect the sound of the exhaust? and were you in S mode or E mode when making this video?
it is not about the exhaust it is about the plopping sound what i mean wich changed after the software update. I always drive in manual mode. In E mode nothing plops

Finger Hut Hi, I ordered my CLA a few months ago (UK), the order form states CLA 250 AMG Sport 4 Matic 2013, do you think this will be the same set-up as the car in the video? In the UK brochure it shows no option for the red detailing etc, or any 421 sport package plus options?

habe mir das fahzeug mit 38.000km letzten monat gekauft. Lohnt auf jeden Fall, wenn man Sound möchte. Wobei ich hier in Mannheim aufpassen muss - hier wurden die Poserkontrollen ja praktisch "erfunden" ;) Auch der Spritverbrauch ist nicht so ganz ohne bei sportlicher Fahrweise. Mitunter diese Video hat mich verleitet, den 250er sport zu holen. Nach der Probefahrt wars dann um mich geschehen :)

what exaust did you put on ?
Futurama 24/7 thats stock... and the video does not do it justice. It bangs and pops but the microphone does not pick it up well. I know since I always bang mine in the tunnels
what is that sound - squeak, turbo whistle? can be heard at the beginning of the movie. I have the same whistle, it annoys me. What could it be?
If you mean the “rattle” you can hear when letting off the gas pedal: it’s probably the turbo wastegate, recommended to get that checked out.

It's not about rattling. it is about a „squeak of a mouse”, starts the car, you hear a whistle at low speed or with a minimum of gas, it comes off and a whistle appears. Always appears when the engine speed drops to a minimum.
