Hey Donny. Still waiting on a few parts for the 372 I was telling you about a week or so ago in the comments. In the meantime I picked up a really clean west German 034 super from the late 80’s for $50, what a nice saw. Original cylinder and piston is mint, and the bearings are perfect, it just needs the regular fuel/impulse lines and carb kit and crank seals. Those old stihls aren’t as smooth to run as the new saws but they have great torque and are built like tanks. Keep up the great content donny, cheers from kemptville ON.
@@donnywalker4691 I have everything I need except the crank bearings, they should be at my dealer this week. Previous owner ran the saw it’s whole life with the silk style filter bucking ash into firewood.It’s super dusty wood so the fines trashed the crank bearings, the felt filter would have been way better. I got a new OEM piston and cylinder since there was a lot of wear on the intake side. Probably could have reused it but I want it to last.
That was good that a lot of people bought tickets and donated for the cause cancer is nobody’s friend a bit of advice for your buddy lot of cancer s feed of sugar glucose avoid breads fruit but that for him to decide I just finished my cancer treatment had pet scan I am clear and free now of cancer.! good advise on the chain 👍🤣
Hey Donny whats the Partnumber for that unlinited Coil for my 372 from 2000 . Or does it have it unlimited? I dont hear a limiting sound or are they doing that by pushing the Timing later? I ‚ m running stock exaustport 99 deg. and uppers on an opend Muffler with decked cylinder , opened Lowers and 160 intake , with Popup and single ring. Thanks
Wow! I would love to find a 372XPG in that condition. .325 50 gauge fan, I run the 23 RS on my MS 261 with a 20" Light 04 bar for topping. Your 592 sounded good , dialing in your grind on that chain and less air time should significantly reduce your times. It was really cool to see you competing. It is great you being able to spend the weekend with your dad at the show, time well spent. You really seem to have a renewed energy lately Donny. 😊 👍

Stihl 33rs is great chain for 50cc saws. I run it with a 24" Cannon Super Mini on my ported 028.

Donny what do you prefer for power 371 single ring or 372 dual ring piston
Both work well I think the single ring pulls more power
