Thank you very much!

Gorgeous and mind blowing painting. Just perfect
Thanks, Dom!
Beautiful. I’m getting set to move soon and soon after that I will be getting your Patreon. I can’t wait. Do more horses
Awesome!
Magnifique Emily !...
beautiful work!! thank you for the tips.
You bet!
very nice horse painting Emily ^_^
Thank you very much indeed Emily for all your tutorials and explanations… I progressed a lot and decorated all the house with your paints. My 3-year-old daughter would love to have a unicorn in her bedroom. I tried to adapt this tutorial… but it was a fail. Would you ever post a tutorial for painting a unicorn please ? Thanks a lot anyway for your job 🤗
What a fun idea! I am sure there are many parents of unicorn-obsessed children who would love a tutorial! 🙌😀
Anazing! 💞
great looking mane on that horse! 😀
I think so too!
Most beautiful horse painting I've ever seen...wow wow wow!! That hair is so naturally awesome in wild motion gorgeous!!!! Love it!! 😍
You're so kind!
I love watching all your tutorials. Every piece turns out so beautiful. Your work is very inspiring.
You should know, however, that horses don't have fur at all. Everything on their body is actually hair. This is true for cattle and a few other species.
Thank you! I'll correct that in my next video! :) I've been erroneously using "hair" and "fur" interchangeably!
Wonderful
Beautiful! I wish I could give more than 1 👍
Thank you so much 😀
I would love a free download sketch!
Love the tip about drawing upside down. It's especially helpful if you're painting something complicated. It takes the left brain right out of it and lets you paint what you really see. Wonderful demo - thank you so much!
My pleasure!
Amazing 😍 all your paintings are stunning but I would say horses may be your forte 🤎🤍
Thank you! 😊
Wow! ♥️
I had a great time painting this! Its framed and it makes me SMILE each time I walk past. I FINALLY got my horse! You are wonderful. And a fantastic teacher.
Barbara, how wonderful! Congrats on a successful painting!
I love your art Emily. You are so talented but can you do a video like this without masking fluid. Many of your great videos include masking fluid and I don’t have that. It would be great if you taught us to paint without that. :) Other than that, all of your videos are AMAZING! ❤❤❤👍😉
Thank you!
What an outstanding tutorial and visual demonstration, that you have shared. I love the closeups as you lay on color wet into wet, it really helps get a good understanding of how wet, is the desired wet. Thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks for achieving your beautiful paintings.
You are so welcome!
Another wonderful horse painting, Emily - love it ❤
Wow! This is absolutely stunning! I love horses and I will definitely try this painting!
Yay, please do!

So glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for your tutorials!❤️🐴
My pleasure!
You are amazing, like you I started at a very young age drawing horses. You help me so much as i am fairly new to watercolor. thank you and thank you for the free jump start guide.
My pleasure--thank you for your kind comment!
This painting is amazing! I really liked the tutorial, it was easy to follow and interesting as well. Thank you so much!
So glad you liked it!
This is one of the best painting that I ever seen! Gorgeous! Very interesting technique too about the drawing upside... I’m gonna give it a try! TFS 💕
Betty’s book is a free download, just google it. I couldn’t draw a stick figure, and after reading and completing exercises, I was blown away! I CAN draw!
@@dorothygladsjo3510 awesome! I ll google it and read it, love to draw and paint but my drawing is awful!! Lol thank you!!!
That's awesome, Dorothy! Thank you!!
You are so kind!
This of course caught my horse loving eyes, immediately. I will want to try this, I like learning new things. Do you own horses out there in Colorado, Emily? You are living my dream life, lol. dream
I'm actually very allergic to horses (sad face), but I grew up with one on our property in Wisconsin. I still do love to paint them!
@@EmilyOlsonArt so sorry to hear that. Your drawing and painting are beautiful, thank you for your tutorials.
👌👏👍🌹🌹🌹
Out of these 3 brands which do you prefer :winsor newton, daniel smith, holbein
All three are excellent! I use Daniel Smith the most.
@@EmilyOlsonArt I can see why, they are amazing quality.
Emily, if you could choose only one Lebenzon brush which one would it be? I've probably asked you this before but I forgot. I think you'll say the little bitty white 1 inch but I'm not 100%.
Ooh that's hard to choose! I use my small stiff white synthetic 1" brush a LOT, but I also use my small brown synthetic 3/4" brush all the time. They are some of the more affordable brushes and will last a long time so it might be worth getting more than one. :)
@@EmilyOlsonArt
What would you say the difference is between the two?
Is that a rigger you used for applying the Dr Martin’s white ink at the end?
I think I was using a cheap Arteza liner brush. They used to come in a big pack, but I'm not sure they sell them anymore.
Emily, in your Patreon tutorials, do you keep reference photo in corner for us to compare and see what your seeing?
Often, though not always. I encourage members to use a separate screen so they always have the reference blown up larger to look at.
Could you do a tribute to Morten E Solberg? plsssss!
His art was incredible. So sad to hear of his passing.
Can I ask you where you got the reference photo?
I purchased this one on Deposit Photos. :)
Masking fluid always sticks to my paper, and I end up tearing my painting up trying to get it off. Any tips?
It would help if you could just show us your sketch for a moment nice and flat, without your hand in front of it.
