Well now I have cut all this 127.7m of cord to all the different lengths and I cannot figure out what’s meant by the diagram showing the working and filler cords with the 40cm arrow up/down ? 40 cm where? I must be in my head and overthinking it now after trying and failing at what I thought was meant so I’ve wasted a lot of cord. I just need to know the length the inside filler cord needs to be if someone sees this. I know it’s been over a year ago since it was posted first but I’m hopeful someone sees it. I really want to make this and know what I am suppose to do. Please and thank you.
Hi there, I haven’t made it yet, but I believe it means that the cords which are longer by 40cm are the ‘working cords’, in that the shorter cords are the cords which stay in the middle, and the longer cords are what you are knotting. They will eventually end up the same length. Hope this helps.
