Window Basket Shade Planter - Garden Answer - Навчання та стиль
So cute to find the 'young' Laura! You were great back then and even better now!
The planter is very pretty; but, PLEASE tell us about that gorgeous clematis! What a show stopper! That 'Escargot' begonias is beautiful! Those burgundy or red stems surprised me; but, not as much as the pattern on the leaves! I WILL have to have one or two of those. I have to rewatch the vid to try to hear the name of the silvery wiry looking plant. It made the swirl on the leaves of the begonias pop! For such a dainty looking little plant, that's amazing. I love it, too. Thanks so much for sharing!
Its a niobe clematis, she mentions it in the the garden tour
Your window box is Beautiful . I didn't know that you could put that many plants in one window box . But now I know thanks to you, I just Love , love , love all your work. I wish you were my NEIGHBOR .
What a stunning composition. Perfectly balanced in colour, texture and shape. Beautiful!!!

she's the garden queen... :)
very nice and so beautiful....
Do the hay-rack planters cause water damage to the building? Seems like you would be exposing the siding to an excess amount of moisture. Anyone ever have any damage from this type of planter?
Love it
I will try the gloves. I dont wear any because I can feel stuff good. Thank you.
WOW I love that. Thanks for sharing. What is the name of the purple/magenta flower near your window, please???
Alea Jey Thank you so much for watching! :) The flower behind me is a 'Niobe' Clematis. If you go check out our Facebook page (found under 'Garden Answer' as well), I just posted a big picture of the vine a couple days ago so you can see a close up! ~Laura
thanks I've just liked your page on fb. Thanks a lot for your reply. Keep up the good job.
What kind of soil do you use for planters. The one I seem to use seem to dry out so quick. I feel I need to water them 3x a day in our summers. We're in zone 9b.
Where can I find the picture of later after this has developed? I looked all over your facebook. I love it and wonder if it will over board an area I have?
I never found the photo either
Lots of unanswered questions too
When it comes to the window box plants I've noticed you are frequently changing them out. The plants you usually plant in the boxes, are they perennials or annuals? Are they able to survive the season in the landscape when you transplant them?
+Maliha Talib Hello! I change them out with every season (usually). I use a mix of annuals and perennials- I plant the perennials in the landscape (I usually pick out perennials that I know I want to use in a specific spot in the landscape after I'm done with them in my containers), and discard the annuals!
What is that plant with the spiral looking leaf called? That looks sooo pretty. Never seen one like that before.
+T2Tigger It's an Es Cargot Begonia :)
Thanks. I've been trying to find it but couldn't find them in my area. I live in Wisconsin.

I can’t find escargot begonias anywhere! Any idea what type of place carries them?

How to made hanging basket
