I change decor but I keep it simple now. I have a Sept to March colors. I change curtains to dark blue, then in spring summer change to off white linen. I change pillow covers per season. A set of dish towels per holiday or season, change out salt and pepper shakers per season. Coffee table stay the same accept fall and winter add neutral flowers to white arrangements, have matching pillow covers and throws. Christmas is the only time I change coffee table out, I put lite Christmas trees in wicker tray and add greenery around it. I set the buffet up, so I add a few large pieces, ex: a glass pumpkin jar, and three candle sticks behind potted plant, Christmas added a large snowflake and a large Christmas bulb with fairy lights. I add themed dish towels to kitchen, salt and pepper shakers, that is all. Bathrooms I add fall a glass gourd, a glass x-mas tree and seasonal hand towels by sink. Bedrooms I change out greenery and add red birds and pillow covers for season. Entrance table have big vase and change out greenery, hall large wicker basket same. I got rid of like one trailer load to good will of stuff. per season. Love it better too.
Laundry is going, dishes are done, cleaned under the stove and the sides while the stove was pulled out, cleaned the microwave, then I swept and mopped the kitchen. Thank you for helping me have a productive afternoon. ❤️

Making Italian Rivoli soup in crock pot and getting ready to Speed clean my house. Throw some flour and things in Bread machine for Bread to go with soup. Supper done. Hope to make mac salad and burrito filling to go in frig for lunches the next few days. Thats after I speed clean because I would end up spending all day in kitchen cooking instead of cleaning. Peace!

Love your channel, anyone with kids who lives in the house and relax knows that it is going to need picked up here and there. Kids are more important than a spotless picture-perfect house. To me your house is perfection done right. We live in our house and prefer it that way. You will not get the years back when your kids fly the coop. They will remember the times in the home and you. Have a person who mother kept a picture-perfect home, she grew up and only remembers the house was more important than her. I grew up with 8 people in a small home, so it was always cleaned just lots of stuff. Thank you for sharing a real family not made-up perfection. Peace!

This is definitely motivating. However, I encounter so much trouble deciding what to keep and what to discard. I end up staring out the window, zoning out, giving up and procrastinating the objects in question. I envy how easily you decide on your stuff!

You always say our house is a mess! I find that once you declutter and find a place for everything. Make a habit of putting things back where they belong. Always do laundry when you get a load which might call for doing it three to four times a week. Always do laundry that you can finish from start to finish like washing, drying, fold and put up. Clutter causes chaos and chaos causes distractions. Have the children to put their things where they belong. They throw clothes all over the floor. It amazes me how much you get done but you are wearing yourself out

I realize the comment about Vegas is probably too old for suggestions but next time you go.... For Vegas shows I highly suggest V The Ultimate Variety Show. It is hands down my favorite show in Vegas and I've been to a ton of them (including alllll of the Cirque shows). It's a smaller theater, it has a little bit of something for everyone, is definitely more kid friendly than Cirque because it's fast paced so they won't get bored, it's cheaper than the big shows and every adult I've taken to see it has loved it. It's in the Miracle Mile Shops.
This is wonderful. "The Best of Ashley Forbes". Up here in Ohio, I hope I don't get to see a repeat of August 12, 2003 anytime soon. It was a Severe Weather Outbreak that occured in the most part of my state including Tornado Warnings and shear weather. Hopefully things are OK down in Texas
