I'm not handicapped but I was able to demonstrate the disabled toilet access at our community centre in the community centre owned wheel chair. The result - electrically operated toilet door and also main building door.
I always carry a selection of bungee cords to temporarily hold gates back - but of course that means that I have to get off/on twice to achieve that. Not at all satisfactory...
He does not know that he can turn the chair with a handle to the right and left, many people do not know, i turn my chair from my mobility scooter to the left and right to get out or does your mobility scooter not have this functioni am walking the same you all do, there are too many obstacles also here in the Netherlands
Thank you for your comment. The purpose of the video is to show those who erect gates just how difficult they can be for disabled people. It has been used by Natural England as a training film.
How is this stupid This video shows how different obstacles can effect disabled people for example gates or logs or the width of the gates weather they are small or wide gates disabled people like myself face many obstacles everyday and videos like this are not just a great training tool but also for those who are not disabled to appreciate what they have interms of space and freedom Also no disabled person is alike and these challenges effect different people in different ways
Are the gates wide enough for a TGA Breeze s4GT ? Cheers for videos
Yes, they are at least 1 metre wide.
I've had a pride ranger the older model through these style of gates and there quite wide
Yes it dose illustrate the problem even across the south Downs Way its difficult
Do let the Rangers at the South Downs know of any difficult gates
More handicap people should be consulted when installing gates and other obstacles faced when navigating these important activities.

Дурацкая калитка! Сломать и выбросить.Можно ведь установить дверь открывающуюся автоматически.У каждого на руках пульт.
Remote control opening sounds interesting.
