  • Will Ryan and Matt Mouzakis interview Steve Gregg on Hell.
Steve Gregg is a teacher, author, and international lecturer on the Bible, theology, and discipleship. He is the author of “Revelation: Four Views: A Parallel Commentary”(1997, 2013) and “All You Want to Know About Hell: Three Christian Views” (2013) and most recently his series on the kingdom of God “The Empire of the Risen Son. His talk show, “The Narrow Path,” broadcasts on stations across the USA and you can find his teachings on the website and mobile app: thenarrowpath.com.
Why Hell is an updated version of your original book “All you want to know about Hell”. Why a new edition and what’s new in this edition compared to the previous one? (Thank you for letting Ryan and I endorse it)
I know when we talked to you about Israel the last time we had you on Expedition 44 you mentioned how your mind was changed based on the text of scripture when it came to dispensationalism. Did you change your mind on Hell after studying scripture too? Tell us about your own journey in studying the doctrine of Hell.
Much of what we think about Hell is directly connected to the character of God. You deal with this concept right off the bat in your book. Please speak to this
Your subtitle for this book is “3 christian views” critically examined. I grew up in a tradition where if you even questioned the Eternal Torment view you would be considered a heretic (I’ve since left ECT), but here you talk about 3 “Christian” views. What are the 3 views and what makes them Christian?
Please give us some of the strengths are weaknesses for each view.
Exegetically, which view is the strongest and which is the weakest in your opinion?
Each view seems to deal with Sin differently. Please walk us through this in each view and how each view approaches the justice of God in dealing with sin
