    Excellent tones! No losers here, they all sounded pretty great- and different enough to each have their own distinct flavor. Are there specs available on these speakers? Like resonant frequency, sensitivity, etc? Thanks!

    Thanks for the demo! Not many on these on youtube. I liked the Neoclassic the most. Any chance you can get the green one? Is the one that intrigues me the most!

      Glad you liked the demo, there is not a lot of hands on info of these cabs which was part of the inspiration to do the video! The green speakers are a little elusive. They don’t seem to be using them in any cabs at the moment so unfortunately I was unable to test them.

    I was search the world for the frank Gambale version of these cabs but can’t find em anywhere. These ones seem a decent substitute. The Gold I think is my choice.

    I have a neoclassic 1x12 and love it but, now I want a 2x12 vertical. They don’t seem to sell the 2x12v neoclassic anywhere that I shop so I am kind of torn between the silver and gold. I use a moderate amount of gain (nothing crazy) with single coils in series that have a kind of humbucker sound but, with a lot of the single coil characteristics still present. I don’t want to much high end when I crank it all, what would be the best for that and honestly little clean playing.

      Hi Jose, I’m not sure if these are even available any more but the gold is my go to, especially for sparkling cleans

    Do you have a video with the Green please? i like the gold sound and i like the color of the silver cabinet, so silver cabinet with gold speaker the best of both worlds for me.

    • @crinkumcrankum1795

      The amps were off to the side in the shot to showcase the cabs better. For the clean sounds we used a Fender ‘65 Deluxe Reverb reissue combo and unplugged the stock speaker. For the dirty clips we used a Mesa Boogie Stiletto Deuce Stage 1 100w head on the channel 2 Tight Gain setting. That is the main head I use in our band Crinkum Crankum.

    Man, Im trying to decide which of these 2/12s I want. They all sound great. Im leaning towards the gold. I dont know, its between the silver and the gold. I play some classic rock, funk, and some jazz-Fusion type stuff, which im really into these days. Which one would you recommend to cover all this? Thanks Oh yeah, Im swapping between two micro heads. A DV Micro 60, and a Quilter 101 Reverb.

      The gold one has become my go to! It is brighter for cleans and spanky tones and has the biggest rock tone. I like the silver one for dirty leads with its softer top end but the gold is better for everything else. I found the black one quite dull and flat.

    Why didnt you tried the Deuce with the Les Paul for humbuckers chunk?

      Combination of time limits and keeping variables to a minimum! Definitely go with the gold cab for chunk. We have been using that cab primarily for the recording of our upcoming album.

      Hey, now i get an neoclassic 212 H, sounds good, a bit linear. A 212GH is on its way. A Silver 212H i player at the weekend. The Silver sounds great, more musically, and i need to test it with the neoclassic together.
      All over one of them will get in the band room.

    • @crinkumcrankum1795
      @crinkumcrankum1795  2 роки тому +1

      @@deadboz6007 the silver is very musical for leads, it has sweet harmonics and a smooth top end. I run it in tandem with a gold 2x12 when space and volume allow, our new material is a lot heavier sounding! The gold is a bit louder and lots more bottom and top end sparkle. My choice for recording rhythm and cleans. The black neo classic was kind of dull sounding to me but may suit some amps. They are so lightweight, never a chore to move around!
