I did a double take when I saw this interview. My first thought was "Why is Mayim interviewing Candace Cameron...they are so different!" I had to stop and think about their shared similarities before I realized how much sense it made. So glad that even though they differ drastically on politics and religion that they are able to still share so much common ground and enjoy their conversation with each other. We don't have to cancel and vilify people who think differently than us :)
As born again Christians disciplines of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior..we are to share the true Word in love …..the meaning of life and what’s to come according to the Word with those who will listen.
Love both of these women. They’re the type of women little girls should be looking up to; they’re smart, funny, kind women who have taken the time to study & learn about their religions & decide on a value system & way to live their lives & be a blessing to their communities. Seeing this has made me realize how toxic our culture has become & how most of the women in media today aren’t honest, admirable people. We need more positive women in media.
I love that Mayim respected Candace’s response about the Bible. She accepted it as a simple answer. It would be nice if everyone respected other’s beliefs, even if it’s not popular or widely accepted.
There are 2.2 billion Christians so maybe a response like “the Bible” is not popular or widely accepted among your tribe, but it is popular and widely accepted among nearly a third of the global population.

As a child born in the mid-80s, I grew up with both of these awesome women on TV; portraying such lovely characters that any girl could look up to, and identify with. I grew up watching these two. They were such an important part of my everyday schedule and structure. I absolutely adore them. So incredibly intelligent and gorgeous. These are the women that should be our role models for our little ones especially our girls. Not the Kardashians.
I'm a stay at home dad of an amazing daughter who just turned 4 two days ago. Yes, I can definitely confirm that days at home with a 3 year old are super long, but cherish every moment of those days cause like they said, the years do go fast. Loved this interview. Life of go-go-go and achieve-achieve-achieve finally caught up with me in a form of depression and burnout. Like Candace and Mayim expressed, focusing on healing while "just" being a mom was the hardest thing I had ever done!

I respect you Mayim on such a deep level and support you in all you do. My amazing wife gifted me your cookbook, Vegan Table and I cherish it. I know and more importantly, understand that people have different views, beliefs, faiths but I can not in good faith support Candace Burre. She has been very outspoken against the LGBT community, to which I am a part of. As I have stated, everyone has the right to believe as they do, but they also have the right to not support someone. You, on the other hand, have been such an ally and for that I honor you. I have struggled with cPTSD, OCD, SAD, dermatillomania, intrusive thougts for a long time (I have found recently that it has been since childhood) and your podcast, along with it's guest have shown that I do not walk this path alone. It has given me strength and comfort and for that, I give thanks/honor to you (and Jonathan). Peace and light.

I find CCB hard to take, knowing well of her views on the LGBT community, as well as other intolerances that are of a more religious nature. It speaks highly of them both that they could engage in civil and friendly talk, finding must common ground while avoiding potholes and differing beliefs.
This is one of my all time favorite interviews! I love both of these women already but this felt like being a fly on the wall for a conversation between new friends. Clearly genuine and authentic!
Two people with very different views that simply said them and it was a part of the conversation, but did not lead to discord. It's funny how you can just celebrate your commonalities and not have to push differences so hard. I think it gets viewers like on The View and news network panel shows and it gets clicks, but ultimately where does that get us? A little positivity and humor and grace and civility go so far. These two have different beliefs, but common experiences. They celebrated that and it is wonderful to watch.
I feel like you could have talked to her another hour. I really wanted to hear more details, I find her beliefs, family, and upbringing so interesting! Great episode.
I really like her. She’s gotten harsh criticism and the media is trying to cancel her. I don’t agree with everything she believes but I also don’t believe we should shame people for their beliefs. People need to practice more compassion and tolerance.
When your "beliefs" are racist and bigoted (she's a homophobe, I'm not saying she's racist, I don't know about that), then your "beliefs" are NOT TO BE RESPECTED. Would you "respect" a member of the KKK, because he believes black people are inferior? I would hope not.
I don't think she should be canceled either, but I'm not sure being bigoted counts as a 'belief' to be respected. My issue is that her traditional 'values' will eventually hurt someone, because most people who watch her stuff I suppose will be the targeted 'traditional' families who don't accept lgbt people, including their own children who may be questioning their sexuality. Her idea of the traditional family is incredibly alienating.

The ideas we choose to participate in matter most: they are either friendly or cruel socially. Material wealth, body size, facial features, or DOING will never create authority by default, which is the ability to pass judgments socially the most. Aristocratic men are hypocritical, cowardly, and jealous. Anger and zero accountability are not replacements for honesty and empathy. No one has control over ideas socially. Authoritarianism is a shallow head game: the refusal to share honesty (friendship) socially. Men with negative intentions will show complete bias against ideas supporting emotional freedom, free thinking, and level states of being. Spiritual development, the focus away from the material and towards psychology ONLY (attraction), is promoted as “not important” by conformist men with abusive, fearful, and pragmatic personalities. Spirituality places much more emphasis on social inclusion, honesty, and collective consciousness. Authoritarians weaponize the material or development in it and use both as reasons to criticize and remain unfriendly (dishonest). Dishonesty is the only way the idea of power may exist. When friendship is seen as more important than power, material development is subservient to mood. When the material is used to boost self worth and reduce others socially, mood is subordinate to power. Joyful ideas supporting free thinking (telepathy, cooperation, and honesty) encourage growth of the human persona, are anti-manipulative, and promote emotional harmony. Men focusing on the immaterial (personality) and on honesty (friendship) have more evolved minds compared to authoritarians consumed with leadership (power). In order to seek status, alphas intentionally remain closed-minded (materialistic), manipulative (controlling), and antagonistic (blame), while also forming intense judgments (jealousy) about more emotionally developed men. Men with mature minds are authentic with others, focus on humor, and shun the idea of emotional leverage. This makes them an unintentional threat socially to serious and conceited men with elitist personalities focused on dominance. Leadership is not warm, nor is it real. It is used in practice to reduce pride in others and to artificially boost feelings of self worth in an individual focused on social image only. Men focusing on telepathy are contradictory socially to alphas promoting leadership. Men with inherent worth (love for others) are offensive to men trying to prove worth (lack of belief in self) with material development. All men know consciousness (Source) and possess a conscience. Possessing a conscience is knowing right from wrong, and refusing to lie about awareness. No man is exempt from understanding Source (love) within, and all of us know we are mentally connected. The idea of comparing human beings to unaware animals is cunning and manipulative. Alphas rely on shared lying socially about awareness in place of being honest (friendly). Character development is ignored with this psychology. Our feelings (thoughts and beliefs) are transmitted and shared vibrationally and mentally. In order to seek power, which is the intention to emotionally reduce others socially, men must feign unawareness of a conscience. Cruel ideas are deliberately participated in and broadcast mentally promoting social dominance. The willful focus on a friendly collective consciousness is a contrarian idea to human animals playing dumb. Being EQUAL TO in the mind socially IS secure, and the ONLY true expression of emotional security that exists. Authoritarians refuse to focus away from being unfair human animals, and remain consumed with social inequality. This forces an unrelaxed, emotionally tense environment driven by melodrama and contempt for others.

It promotes closed-mindedness, fear, and the social inclusion of violence. Thoughtful men focusing on telepathy, and away from conformity, are judged relentlessly for having elevated emotions by alphas refusing to evolve. Lessor minds intentionally share cruel beliefs together promoting the social exclusion of men with empathy socializing positive. These men are mental only in focus, never play head games, and are level in the mind with all. Alphas seek emotional support and validation from each other socially, since the ideas they participate in are rooted in dishonor and physical aggression. Alphas judge honest (friendly) men the most, as they focus away from arrogance entirely, and expect friendship to be returned socially. Passing excessive, unprovoked judgments (authoritarianism) on a better psychology, wavelength, and state of being is jealousy. These criticisms always relate to social harmony and non-violence. Alphas rely on power of numbers to manipulate the truth and to keep primal ideas popular that are intentionally threatening towards men that have already focused away from machismo (lying and fear), and towards telepathy, honesty, and Source. Authoritarians will always promote vibrational attacks against men that have already grown past them in thinking, resulting in petty head games socially. Intelligence is always associated with emotional IQ, and emotional IQ has a direct correlation to the mental focus on social equality. Social equality can only result from honesty (friendship) within the mind. The reason men chose to be honest is because they are aware telepathy is real. It looks stupid to lie about it. Alphas primarily focus on dominance in the mind and social image, and focus entirely away from telepathy within. This reduces their emotional IQ socially. Because of this, alphas will always feel inferior to more honest (friendly) men. Alphas must always focus on acting skills to socialize, since the inner persona is focused only on criticisms, violence, and dishonesty. This creates a shallow personality with a dumb vibe. Forceful thinking men will always share jealousy with men sharing respect with more emotional depth. Only men with emotional IQ can form real personas vibrationally that are not shallow. Shallow men are associated with lying and are not respected when it comes to intelligence, creating situations where they are avoided socially. This angers the minds of men possessing a lower psychology, which often creates unprovoked violent reactions. When thinking is focused on honesty, feelings radiate soft. When thinking is focused on lying, feelings radiate threatening. Machismo and compassion are polar opposites. Machismo will never allow for healing to occur, while compassion is the promotion of both healing and emotional growth. Men focused on compassion will always outsmart less mature men with arrogance sharing no respect. Men will either allow healing (level thinking) to occur socially, or they will attempt to take away pride from others to artificially boost feelings of self worth. Alphas will always attempt to seek an image of more value socially by cheating (violence, greed, or leadership). Judgements from personalities with machismo usually have little substance. Only judgments relating to character issues (dishonesty), violence, or an excessively critical mind have real substance. Passing judgments on men for being honest (friendly) is shallow, arrogant, and completely against the development of our collective consciousness socially. Judgments from alphas are hypocritical, cruel, and reside in dishonor. Shallow judgments from authoritarians will always lead to drama, social inequality, and violence. Alphas focus intensely on cutting other men down unfairly in order to promote a better social image, calling it “competitive”. It’s time for human beings to let go of classism (psychic warfare) for good. It is jealousy. Secure men are level in the mind and easy to get along with. I loved this. I am 44 so I grew up with both of you and loved you both in your roles on TV. Christianity is, unfortunately, such a source of attack. What a great conversation to listen to! Somehow I stumbled upon this today. I listened to Candace and her brother Kirk today, too, and not even sure how that video popped up in my feed. I admire them so much, and they were all a part of my childhood. I was born in '72. I sure wish I could meet Candace, specifically, and spend a day or two with her to talk about life and marriage and parenthood and being a Christian. I have two boys in their 20's. One in the Air Force. I divorced after 24 years. I've been a Christian my entire life. I was a stay-at-home mom. Went back to college in my 30's and got my BA degree. I'm a teacher and Iive paycheck to paycheck. It's amazing to me how certain people get a great start in life like they have and continue in their adult life to be such lovely admirable individuals. God bless them! I am so happy to know we have people in our world like them. Because they are celebrities, they have an impact on us in an incredible way. And hey, Candace, I absolutely love Hallmark movies and love your acting in the movies I've seen. I wish I could be in a Hallmark movie. Lol! I have no acting experience, but it's a dream of mine to act in a Hallmark movie. I don't care about the money or fame. It just sounds like it would be such a fantastic experience. 💕

I was blessed to have been able to stay home the first 10yrs with my kids. It was a blessing and yet the longest 10yrs of my life 🙃 my oldest was born in 1984, then 86, and 88 😊 I got the.... what do you do ? and when I said I chose to stay home. Oh my Lanta ..... I was practically sneered at 🙄 And. now all these later.... My children are amazing adults and I tell people I take full credit 🤣 I was a mom and my husband was their dad....

That was lovely. I've watched quite a few of Mayim's Breakdown, but I tend to tune in when she's interviewing another grown-up child actor who I enjoyed when I was growing up. I always admired Candace and Mayim when I was a girl (a couple years younger than them) and it makes me so happy to see them as such wonderful adults who I can still continue to look up to.
I have followed these podcasts since you began them. I love hearing different views and experiences. I did enjoy this segment. I wasn’t going to listen due to things I had heard about her leaving hallmark. What I have heard may not be true. Even if her reasons were what I had heard we are all humans on this planet and we need to acknowledge that it takes all of us to have a healthy planet. I am grateful for this segment!
One hundred percent my favorite episode! My two favorite actresses my age that I grew up watching and I thoroughly enjoy how well the conversation flowed. I've not been much of a fan of Candace either. I remember some kerfuffel about her husband grabbing her breast on (Instagram?). She made a comment that he could grope her whenever he wanted, and she would welcome it. YIKES! I hope her daughters aren't being trained to accept that their bodies are available to their partners 24 hrs a day no matter what!?!!
Ditto the anti gay and militant fundamentalist religion mindset is hard to see past. She was significantly edited/presented softer here but likely due to both good editing as well as actually being more real. As awful as I find her religious views, she’s still a whole and complex person.

Zero difference in sexuality differences than blonde versus brunette hair. Being anti-gay marriage is as ignorant as saying only brunettes should marry. The genetic studies are long accepted as fact, only those in extremely right households don’t believe in those data facts because they are ignorant.

I am interested in people who are true to themselves especially women because I have two daughters 23 and 20. The thought of my daughters changing their value systems just to please the predominant cultural narratives gives me nightmares. No one should become (it's somewhat of a choice) so pressured that they join a fringe group who happens to get the most media attention. I still believe most Americans are good and decent people. However, the pull by the media lately is extremely powerful. I can't imagine what it must be like as a young person today. My daughters, wife and I have discussions, but I will never truly know all the thoughts they have knowing they have so many years ahead of them... God willing. You and Jonathan, through this wonderful podcast, have opened my eyes to the importance of mental health and how to see the world in different ways. I don't agree with every guest you have in terms of how they choose to live their lives. However, I believe in their right to do so. Listening to them gives me a better perspective. One last thing thank you, Mayim for the characters you have created from Blossom to Kat. In my mind though the best role you've played is the one of a very intelligent woman who isn't afraid to be herself silly, funny, a good mom, and serious. That is the legacy that will hold up against all of life's storms.
Mayim, I just love your podcasts and how real you are with your audience and your guests! I am 65 and have been married for 45 years. You are a breath of fresh air and keep me laughing! I love your laid back fashion and you can play dress up any time you want to! You are perfect just the way you are. I bite my nails, I organize my closet by color, most clothes don’t “spark joy” in me because of my size. I’ve spent a lifetime beating myself up for it and I now buy “cute” clothes because they finally make clothes in my size with pretty colors. I LOVE your rapid fire questions and think you could find lots of non-showbiz people to interview to mix things up. I was very sad when your position as co-host was eliminated on Jeopardy. I just found this podcast a few days ago and have watched I think 3 or 4 so far. I love you, Mayim! You are so real and smart and funny! I remember learning a few years ago that you are literally a neuroscientist, and I was immediately impressed that you weren't another mindless, meaningless, self-absorbed Hollywood disaster! Now I've happened upon your podcast and am enjoying the episodes so much. I just watched this episode with Candace Cameron Bure and loved it. I love her so much! This was a great interview! I especially loved your honest questions, and it was so refreshing that you said those particularly honest things to Jonathan after the interview about how you want to spend a day at her house where she dresses you and does your hair and makeup and shows you how to be her for a day. I can relate! Those are things I feel and think and say, and in regard to Candace, too, and you SAID it out loud! It felt so good to hear that honesty come out of your mouth! I just love you! I wish you lived closer so we could go for coffee or something, although I'd probably not be as interesting to you as I'm far less intelligent and educated than you are. I did a double take when I saw this interview. My first thought was "Why is Mayim interviewing Candace Cameron...they are so different!" I had to stop and think about their shared similarities before I realized how much sense it made. So glad that even though they differ drastically on politics and religion that they are able to still share so much common ground and enjoy their conversation with each other. We don't have to cancel and vilify people who think differently than us :)

Love both of these women. They’re the type of women little girls should be looking up to; they’re smart, funny, kind women who have taken the time to study & learn about their religions & decide on a value system & way to live their lives & be a blessing to their communities. Seeing this has made me realize how toxic our culture has become & how most of the women in media today aren’t honest, admirable people. We need more positive women in media.

I love that Mayim respected Candace’s response about the Bible. She accepted it as a simple answer. It would be nice if everyone respected other’s beliefs, even if it’s not popular or widely accepted.
There are 2.2 billion Christians so maybe a response like “the Bible” is not popular or widely accepted among your tribe, but it is popular and widely accepted among nearly a third of the global population.

As a child born in the mid-80s, I grew up with both of these awesome women on TV; portraying such lovely characters that any girl could look up to, and identify with. Former international elite athlete turned business owner after I lost my job when I found out I was pregnant... Life of go-go-go and achieve-achieve-achieve finally caught up with me in a form of depression and burnout. Like Candace and Mayim expressed, focusing on healing while "just" being a mom was the hardest thing I had ever done!

I respect you Mayim on such a deep level and support you in all you do. My amazing wife gifted me your cookbook, Vegan Table and I cherish it. I know and more importantly, understand that people have different views, beliefs, faiths but I can not in good faith support Candace Burre. She has been very outspoken against the LGBT community, to which I am a part of. As I have stated, everyone has the right to believe as they do, but they also have the right to not support someone. You, on the other hand, have been such an ally and for that I honor you. I have struggled with cPTSD, OCD, SAD, dermatillomania, intrusive thougts for a long time (I have found recently that it has been since childhood) and your podcast, along with it's guest have shown that I do not walk this path alone. It has given me strength and comfort and for that, I give thanks/honor to you (and Jonathan). Peace and light.
Thank you for your honest and respectful comment. Mayim is incredible. I find CCB hard to take, knowing well of her views on the LGBT community, as well as other intolerances that are of a more religious nature. It speaks highly of them both that they could engage in civil and friendly talk, finding must common ground while avoiding potholes and differing beliefs.
This is one of my all time favorite interviews! I love both of these women already but this felt like being a fly on the wall for a conversation between new friends. Clearly genuine and authentic!
Two people with very different views that simply said them and it was a part of the conversation, but did not lead to discord. It's funny how you can just celebrate your commonalities and not have to push differences so hard. I think it gets viewers like on The View and news network panel shows and it gets clicks, but ultimately where does that get us? A little positivity and humor and grace and civility go so far. These two have different beliefs, but common experiences. They celebrated that and it is wonderful to watch.
I feel like you could have talked to her another hour. I really wanted to hear more details, I find her beliefs, family, and upbringing so interesting! Great episode.

I really like her. She’s gotten harsh criticism and the media is trying to cancel her. I don’t agree with everything she believes but I also don’t believe we should shame people for their beliefs. People need to practice more compassion and tolerance.
When your "beliefs" are racist and bigoted (she's a homophobe, I'm not saying she's racist, I don't know about that), then your "beliefs" are NOT TO BE RESPECTED. Would you "respect" a member of the KKK, because he believes black people are inferior? I would hope not.
I don't think she should be canceled either, but I'm not sure being bigoted counts as a 'belief' to be respected. My issue is that her traditional 'values' will eventually hurt someone, because most people who watch her stuff I suppose will be the targeted 'traditional' families who don't accept lgbt people, including their own children who may be questioning their sexuality. Her idea of the traditional family is incredibly alienating.

Honesty socially is more important than DOING to impress others. It’s not what we DO to build social value that matters. It’s the respect we are willing to give, as well as the authenticity and sincerity we have within our personalities. The ideas we choose to participate in matter most: they are either friendly or cruel socially. Material wealth, body size, facial features, or DOING will never create authority by default, which is the ability to pass judgments socially the most. Aristocratic men are hypocritical, cowardly, and jealous. Anger and zero accountability are not replacements for honesty and empathy. No one has control over ideas socially.
Authoritarianism is a shallow head game: the refusal to share honesty (friendship) socially. Men with negative intentions will show complete bias against ideas supporting emotional freedom, free thinking, and level states of being. Spiritual development, the focus away from the material and towards psychology ONLY (attraction), is promoted as “not important” by conformist men with abusive, fearful, and pragmatic personalities. Spiritual ideas immediately decentralize power, elevate mood, reduce manipulation, and eliminate leadership. Spirituality places much more emphasis on social inclusion, honesty, and collective consciousness. Authoritarians weaponize the material or development in it and use both as reasons to criticize and remain unfriendly (dishonest). Dishonesty is the only way the idea of power may exist. When friendship is seen as more important than power, material development is subservient to mood. When the material is used to boost self worth and reduce others socially, mood is subordinate to power.
Joyful ideas supporting free thinking (telepathy, cooperation, and honesty) encourage growth of the human persona, are anti-manipulative, and promote emotional harmony. Men focusing on the immaterial (personality) and on honesty (friendship) have more evolved minds compared to authoritarians consumed with leadership (power). In order to seek status, alphas intentionally remain closed-minded (materialistic), manipulative (controlling), and antagonistic (blame), while also forming intense judgments (jealousy) about more emotionally developed men. Men with mature minds are authentic with others, focus on humor, and shun the idea of emotional leverage. This makes them an unintentional threat socially to serious and conceited men with elitist personalities focused on dominance. Leadership is not warm, nor is it real. It is used in practice to reduce pride in others and to artificially boost feelings of self worth in an individual focused on social image only. Men focusing on telepathy are contradictory socially to alphas promoting leadership. Men with inherent worth (love for others) are offensive to men trying to prove worth (lack of belief in self) with material development.
All men know consciousness (Source) and possess a conscience. Possessing a conscience is knowing right from wrong, and refusing to lie about awareness. No man is exempt from understanding Source (love) within, and all of us know we are mentally connected. The idea of comparing human beings to unaware animals is cunning and manipulative. Alphas rely on shared lying socially about awareness in place of being honest (friendly). Character development is ignored with this psychology. Our feelings (thoughts and beliefs) are transmitted and shared vibrationally and mentally. In order to seek power, which is the intention to emotionally reduce others socially, men must feign unawareness of a conscience. Cruel ideas are deliberately participated in and broadcast mentally promoting social dominance. The willful focus on a friendly collective consciousness is a contrarian idea to human animals playing dumb. Being EQUAL TO in the mind socially IS secure, and the ONLY true expression of emotional security that exists. Authoritarians refuse to focus away from being unfair human animals, and remain consumed with social inequality. This forces an unrelaxed, emotionally tense environment driven by melodrama and contempt for others.

Alphas are mentally unstable, have manipulative personalities, and possess low feelings of self worth resulting from the intense focus on anger (authority), apathy (indifference), and advantages (dominance). Ideas rooted in mental dominance (alpha psychology) will never promote honesty (friendship). Alphas are homophobic, and are especially critical of friendly men that are emotionally developed. Men with empathy have already worked through insecurities and judgments to focus on telepathy. Prideful men lying about insecurities within use blame and criticisms to seek control over feelings socially in order to project an image of being stronger. This creates artificial versions of emotional security and more value socially enforced with paranoia and anger. Resorting to vibrational attacks for the purpose of self promotion by reducing worth in others mentally leads to violence. Dominance over feelings is impossible, as we all share thinking. Men with emotional IQ are authentic socially and care about calm feelings more. We are telepathic. There is no choice but to be level with others mentally, and to focus on the ultimate truth of what reality is (connection with Source). Evolved men refuse to criticize other people unprovoked or manipulate the truth. Alphas will always share critical thoughts about other people. Men with emotional depth focus on honesty socially more than alphas, creating non-violence.
The idea of a social hierarchy (human authority) is degrading and humiliating. It promotes closed-mindedness, fear, and the social inclusion of violence. Thoughtful men focusing on telepathy, and away from conformity, are judged relentlessly for having elevated emotions by alphas refusing to evolve. Lessor minds intentionally share cruel beliefs together promoting the social exclusion of men with empathy socializing positive. These men are mental only in focus, never play head games, and are level in the mind with all. Alphas seek emotional support and validation from each other socially, since the ideas they participate in are rooted in dishonor and physical aggression. Alphas judge honest (friendly) men the most, as they focus away from arrogance entirely, and expect friendship to be returned socially. Passing excessive, unprovoked judgments (authoritarianism) on a better psychology, wavelength, and state of being is jealousy. These criticisms always relate to social harmony and non-violence. Alphas rely on power of numbers to manipulate the truth and to keep primal ideas popular that are intentionally threatening towards men that have already focused away from machismo (lying and fear), and towards telepathy, honesty, and Source. Authoritarians will always promote vibrational attacks against men that have already grown past them in thinking, resulting in petty head games socially.
Intelligence is always associated with emotional IQ, and emotional IQ has a direct correlation to the mental focus on social equality. Social equality can only result from honesty (friendship) within the mind. The reason men chose to be honest is because they are aware telepathy is real. It looks stupid to lie about it. Alphas primarily focus on dominance in the mind and social image, and focus entirely away from telepathy within. This reduces their emotional IQ socially. Because of this, alphas will always feel inferior to more honest (friendly) men. Alphas must always focus on acting skills to socialize, since the inner persona is focused only on criticisms, violence, and dishonesty. This creates a shallow personality with a dumb vibe. Forceful thinking men will always share jealousy with men sharing respect with more emotional depth. Only men with emotional IQ can form real personas vibrationally that are not shallow. It is only when the inner mind matches the outer persona that a human being can be likable socially. Shallow men are associated with lying and are not respected when it comes to intelligence, creating situations where they are avoided socially. This angers the minds of men possessing a lower psychology, which often creates unprovoked violent reactions. When thinking is focused on honesty, feelings radiate soft. When thinking is focused on lying, feelings radiate threatening.
Machismo and compassion are polar opposites. Machismo will never allow for healing to occur, while compassion is the promotion of both healing and emotional growth. Men focused on compassion will always outsmart less mature men with arrogance sharing no respect. Men will either allow healing (level thinking) to occur socially, or they will attempt to take away pride from others to artificially boost feelings of self worth. Alphas will always attempt to seek an image of more value socially by cheating (violence, greed, or leadership). Judgements from personalities with machismo usually have little substance. Only judgments relating to character issues (dishonesty), violence, or an excessively critical mind have real substance. Passing judgments on men for being honest (friendly) is shallow, arrogant, and completely against the development of our collective consciousness socially. Judgments from alphas are hypocritical, cruel, and reside in dishonor. Shallow judgments from authoritarians will always lead to drama, social inequality, and violence. Alphas focus intensely on cutting other men down unfairly in order to promote a better social image, calling it “competitive”.
It’s time for human beings to let go of classism (psychic warfare) for good. It is jealousy. Secure men are level in the mind and easy to get along with. Alphas resort to conniving and childish head games. Men that focus non-violent and refuse to lie evolve.

I loved this. I am 44 so I grew up with both of you and loved you both in your roles on TV. Christianity is, unfortunately, such a source of attack. People today confuse Truth/Facts for Hate is the problem....they confuse CONVICTION for Offense.... when they are being honestly and factually corrected, they instead get offended. Wrong reaction. But thats the main problem. lus they don't have a correct Moral compass.
What a great conversation to listen to! Somehow I stumbled upon this today. I listened to Candace and her brother Kirk today, too, and not even sure how that video popped up in my feed. I admire them so much, and they were all a part of my childhood. I was born in '72. I sure wish I could meet Candace, specifically, and spend a day or two with her to talk about life and marriage and parenthood and being a Christian. I have two boys in their 20's. One in the Air Force. I divorced after 24 years. I've been a Christian my entire life. I was a stay-at-home mom. Went back to college in my 30's and got my BA degree. I'm a teacher and Iive paycheck to paycheck. It's amazing to me how certain people get a great start in life like they have and continue in their adult life to be such lovely admirable individuals. God bless them! I am so happy to know we have people in our world like them. Because they are celebrities, they have an impact on us in an incredible way. And hey, Candace, I absolutely love Hallmark movies and love your acting in the movies I've seen. I wish I could be in a Hallmark movie. Lol! I have no acting experience, but it's a dream of mine to act in a Hallmark movie. I don't care about the money or fame. It just sounds like it would be such a fantastic experience. 💕

I was blessed to have been able to stay home the first 10yrs with my kids. It was a blessing and yet the longest 10yrs of my life 🙃 my oldest was born in 1984, then 86, and 88 😊 I got the.... what do you do ? and when I said I chose to stay home. Oh my Lanta ..... I was practically sneered at 🙄 And. now all these later.... My children are amazing adults and I tell people I take full credit 🤣 I was a mom and my husband was their dad....

That was lovely. I've watched quite a few of Mayim's Breakdown, but I tend to tune in when she's interviewing another grown-up child actor who I enjoyed when I was growing up. I always admired Candace and Mayim when I was a girl (a couple years younger than them) and it makes me so happy to see them as such wonderful adults who I can still continue to look up to.
I have followed these podcasts since you began them. I love hearing different views and experiences. I did enjoy this segment. I wasn’t going to listen due to things I had heard about her leaving hallmark. What I have heard may not be true. Even if her reasons were what I had heard we are all humans on this planet and we need to acknowledge that it takes all of us to have a healthy planet. I am grateful for this segment!

I've not been much of a fan of Candace either. I remember some kerfuffel about her husband grabbing her breast on (Instagram?). She made a comment that he could grope her whenever he wanted, and she would welcome it. YIKES! I hope her daughters aren't being trained to accept that their bodies are available to their partners 24 hrs a day no matter what!?!!
Ditto the anti gay and militant fundamentalist religion mindset is hard to see past. She was significantly edited/presented softer here but likely due to both good editing as well as actually being more real. As awful as I find her religious views, she’s still a whole and complex person.

Zero difference in sexuality differences than blonde versus brunette hair. Being anti-gay marriage is as ignorant as saying only brunettes should marry. The genetic studies are long accepted as fact, only those in extremely right households don’t believe in those data facts because they are ignorant.

I am interested in people who are true to themselves especially women because I have two daughters 23 and 20. The thought of my daughters changing their value systems just to please the predominant cultural narratives gives me nightmares. No one should become (it's somewhat of a choice) so pressured that they join a fringe group who happens to get the most media attention. I still believe most Americans are good and decent people. However, the pull by the media lately is extremely powerful. I can't imagine what it must be like as a young person today. My daughters, wife and I have discussions, but I will never truly know all the thoughts they have knowing they have so many years ahead of them... God willing. You and Jonathan, through this wonderful podcast, have opened my eyes to the importance of mental health and how to see the world in different ways. I don't agree with every guest you have in terms of how they choose to live their lives. However, I believe in their right to do so. Listening to them gives me a better perspective.
One last thing thank you, Mayim for the characters you have created from Blossom to Kat. In my mind though the best role you've played is the one of a very intelligent woman who isn't afraid to be herself silly, funny, a good mom, and serious. That is the legacy that will hold up against all of life's storms.

I love your laid back fashion and you can play dress up any time you want to! You are perfect just the way you are.
I bite my nails, I organize my closet by color, most clothes don’t “spark joy” in me because of my size. I’ve spent a lifetime beating myself up for it and I now buy “cute” clothes because they finally make clothes in my size with pretty colors. I LOVE your rapid fire questions and think you could find lots of non-showbiz people to interview to mix things up.

I just found this podcast a few days ago and have watched I think 3 or 4 so far. I love you, Mayim! You are so real and smart and funny! I remember learning a few years ago that you are literally a neuroscientist, and I was immediately impressed that you weren't another mindless, meaningless, self-absorbed Hollywood disaster! Now I've happened upon your podcast and am enjoying the episodes so much. I just watched this episode with Candace Cameron Bure and loved it. I love her so much! This was a great interview! I especially loved your honest questions, and it was so refreshing that you said those particularly honest things to Jonathan after the interview about how you want to spend a day at her house where she dresses you and does your hair and makeup and shows you how to be her for a day. I can relate! Those are things I feel and think and say, and in regard to Candace, too, and you SAID it out loud! It felt so good to hear that honesty come out of your mouth! I just love you! I wish you lived closer so we could go for coffee or something, although I'd probably not be as interesting to you as I'm far less intelligent and educated than you are. I like to think I'm funny and witty, but it would be a challenge to be at your level! I'm so happy you are raising children, and especially boys, because this world needs more people like you, and I'm sure you're raising some stellar young men and human beings!
