Did my 2016 Touareg yesterday... total nightmare ... both retaining pins were bent and wouldn't come out ... the inside pad on both sides was seized in place ( not the piston the pad ) and wasn't actually doing anything... the car was serviced last month... I changed the sensor on both sides aswell ( no coding required ).

@@dooferme3852 Sorry to hear that! I think I would have junked it all and put on new calipers. I was lucky and mine came out very easily. It's so frustrating to take on a job and then have it get complicated. It sounds like you got it done, so good on you!

Very detailed and helpful video. Did you replace the rotor or just resurface it? Do you know if it is recommended to replace the rotors when replacing the pads?
